Thank goodness for this, I swelled so bad they had to saw the side of my cast open but leave it on and wrap it and couldn't risk taking the cast off to recast it, but the wrap was always pushed by sleeves and the waterproof cast cover to shower. Also, a cast is super scratchy and snags smooth materials. Now with this cover it's smooth and the wrap isn't affected and the cast stays clean and the cover can be removed to wash. I am an average sized woman, with a short arm cast, I thought a small would be enough, wrong, I needed a medium, it stretches but not much at all and the small wasn't long enough, hope that helps size wise.

I have severe carpal tunnel in both wrists and am wearing wrist and thumb stabilizing braces on both hands. The Velcro fasteners on the braces were tearing up my clothing and bedding. I was pleased to find this product (didn't know there was such a thing!) The covers serves two purposes for me...covers the Velcro to protect my clothing and, because I bought the nude shade, makes the braces less noticeable! That's a win-win situation for me. The only thing that would make it better for me is if the thumb had a little sleeve as well. The braces I am wearing stabilizes my thumb and has Velcro to adjust the support around my thumb. I bought the short cover but it is plenty long...long enough that I can tuck the cover under the brace to protect my skin from the brace and strap rubbing my skin. Oh...there's another win for me!! Great product!

Material is nice, soft and stretchy. Shipping was extremely fast—one day! However, I had specifically asked the seller, using my exact measurements, what size to get, and the seller recommended I size up for in between measurements. The sleeve I received was so comically large it would actually be a greater hindrance than the annoying cast itself!I am in the process of returning it, and depending on how the refund process goes I may buy another in a different size to see if it will work out. If everything goes well and quickly, I will update my review.Annoyed that I will have to spend the next five days sorting this out— I will end up going without a sleeve for a week by the time I get a new one.

My cast is 9-1/2" long and 10-1/2" at the widest circumference. i ordered the Medium Short which is 11" long and 9" circumference. Cover is more than long enough, but it took a lot of stretching, tugging and pulling (by my helpful husband), to get it on over my scratchy cast, and it snagged all over, as it is a lycra/spandex. Not going to be able to take it off sometimes to change it like I had hoped. Disappointing, as I had ordered this one in black and wanted to change to a fun purple one sometimes that I had ordered from a different company but not received yet.

This product is what it says it is and there really isn't a great way to cover a cast but this was not my favorite way to do so. It's kind of shiny and my cast had a thumb that stuck out and this didn't cover it at all. I had better luck cutting the end off of a knee sock and cutting a hole in the heel for my thumb to stick out. You can get a bunch of knee socks for the same price. I wouldn't buy it again but I hope to never need to.

I had thumb surgery and have to wear an ugly splint for 6 weeks. I bought this sleeve in black so it goes with everything and is neutral.I’m a female with a small arm and wrist but once I added the bulk of the splint I knew a small wouldn’t work. I bought the large and have some extra material but it doesn’t get in the way since it’s at the open end. A medium definitely would be too small width wise.The only negative is that it’s way overpriced. It’s just a piece of fabric sewn together, and has a thumb hole. Glad I bought it but I will be reselling it to a friend (at a lower price) who has a similar surgery coming up in a few months.

No way this fits ! According to the directions a short cast medium is about 11 inch circumference- I measured mine , is about 10. There is no way I can get a medium on my hand!!! I have broken fingers too and I’m not trying to squeeze everything in with pain to try to protect my cast from getting dirty . they should be way more loose fit than what they are! I don’t understand how anyone could wear this, I seriously doubt the large would even make me feel comfortable wearing it !?? It barely fits my hand without a cast comfortably. Am I missing something here?

i bought this for an arm cast..The idea sounded good...clean cast, not catching on clothing or bedsheets, and fun way to cover the cast. I found the size to be fine except for the fit in the hand area. My had is small and there is way to much material in between the thumb and fingers. If I push the cover down to expose my fingers more the thumb hole cuts into my thumb....if I push it up to make the thumb hole fit comfortably, the cast cover goes up to my middle knuckles. Time will tell if I actually wear it...as it impacts my ability to use my fingers as I would wish. Someone with a larger hand may be fine. I ordered a medium and length and circumference is fine.
