Wild Baker Snoopy Doghouse Kit

My snoopy doghouses arrived on time. One of the house pieces was broken in the corner. The Jellly Snoopies were adorable. We had a hard time with the icing and the icing bag broke which made it very difficult to apply to the house. All in all, we had fun making them which was the ultimate point.

WE HAD BEGUN A TRADITION TO HAVE A GINGERBREAD CAKE FOR TE KIDS AND THEIR FRIENDS WOULD HAVE SOMETHING TO DO THE DAY AFTER ALL THE FESTIVITIES ON cHRISTMAS.....THE OTHER PARENTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD GREATLY APPRECIATED THEIR KIDS BEING AT OUR HOUSE PUTTING THE HOUSES TOGETHER. tHIS YEAR WE DECIDED TO TRY THE SNOOPY DOG HOUSE KIT.....VERY DISAPPOINTING, IT WAS A FLOP,,,WILL BE GOING BACK TO THE GINGERBREAD HOUSE

Adorable, glad they make a snoopy gingerbread house. It only has jelly snoopys no woodstocks like it appears in the display pic. It comes with alot of icing, most of these kits do not have enough. However, it only comes with 1 pkg of colored, round candy. The pieces also dont seem to line up right. Some are too small. Overall its too cute to pass up.

The gingerbread was stale, the gummies, hard, and the icing spoiled. I hope I just got a bad box, but I wouldn't consider ordering it online again.

This kit is great because smaller houses just work better. Lots of color and edible snoopy is a perfect addition

We do a yearly gingerbread kit with the grandsons. They loved it!

The media could not be loaded.  The Snoopy Doghouse Kit came with four doghouses to be assembled and four marshmallow Snoopys. That was perfect for my group of four children we had for Christmas.The kit came with one pouch of red icing and one pouch of white icing. Also, there were two bags for piping the icing and four tips. We could only use two of the tips, because we only had two bags. After kneading the icing, we chose the tips and placed them in the bags. It appears we did not choose wisely. The tip we chose for the white icing was fine, but the tip for the red icing was too narrow and the icing would not come out, at least not easily.Assembly was difficult for the children. They could not keep the doghouses together. Eventually, two of the children got theirs up. The other children eventually gave up but there was a lot of laughter as the icing got everywhere.The kit did not come with a lot of candy and the Peanuts characters were basically cutouts from the back of the box. Overall, the parents agreed the kit was a disaster, but the children were not overly disappointed.

First of all, you can find this kit for less than half this price at Walmart. Secondly, I would not order something like this online because the gingerbread pieces can break during shipping.After a few other ginger bread kit flops, I saw this and decided to try it this year. We did a large house for Halloween and it would not stay together and I ending up binding it by tying it with hemp string. I thought the smaller houses might stick together more easily, and I was right.The icing the kit comes with is very very thick and acts as a great glue, but you do need to knead it to make it easier to work with. I think the kit has more than enough icing, but if you want more colors you can pick up the tubes of decorating icing in the baking aisle of your grocery store, which I did.The good thing about this, is if you are getting this kit for kids there are four houses so they can each have their own. All in all, it was a fun project and my 4 and 5 year old were able to do this easily with a bit of help. I would not pay this price for it, but like I said you can find it for half elsewhere.
