Description
Paraplast, made of paraffin and plastic polymers, allows clean cuts and minimizes wrinkles for clear, smooth tissue specimens. Compatible with most solvents and staining techniques. Melting point: 56°C (133°F) (ASTM). Paraplast Plus is similar to Paraplast except for the addition of dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO), which improves rate of tissue infiltration, making it easier to cut difficult or brittle tissues.
