Dennis does a good job of putting the way Satan operates into light. I see the spiritual world in a whole different way now and feel better prepared for the battles.

This book was phenomenal from start to finish. Before we engage in spiritual warfare we must know as much as we can about our opponent so that we do not underestimate the havoc he can wreak in our lives. He is a created being that has more wisdom than humans. Therefore, the only way we can successfully beat him is in Christ, which leads me to the greatest nugget in this book. God hid his redemptive plan of the Messiah’s first coming in himself. Therefore, he did not have to force or coerce Satan to crucify the Messiah; he automatically went in for the kill due to his rebellious character of opposing everything that looks like God resulting in his defeat.Check it out it will change your mindset.

Read a review of another book on Satan by this author. He said that author was extreme. This author uses lots of different translations,but corrects the KJV and states Lucifer is a wrong translation in Isaiah 14 and vv. 12-15 are not about Satan. Attend a KJV church, believe the Bible. Romans 3:4 says, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightiest be justified in thy sayings, and mightiest overcome when thou art judged.” Quoting “New Testament Survey” by James W. Knox, “This verse teaches that we cannot place the ideas of men above or on par with, the scripture. We must compare every book, every feeling, every sermon, every lyric,every sight of the eyes with the word of God. We cannot cleave to tradition AND Biblical revelation where the two differ. Biblically sound teaching on the reality of Satan. Though this is a deep subject, McCallum's down to earth, straightforward approach lends to easy reading and understanding. I'd recommend this book to anyone who struggles with the idea that Satan is a real being and to those who already believe Satan exists and yet would like to better understand his nature.

This is one of those books that, to my humble opinion, should be read by as many believers as possible.Rarely do you see these kind of Spirit breathed books. It's like Watchman Nee's "The Normal Christian Life". Absolutely fantastic!The author stays close to Biblical truths about satan and always balances his words. I love that. And I agree with another reviewer that the part "satan and you" is quite confronting but also very rewarding when read and applied in humility and faith.I started highlighting passages that I find important, which I always do with Kindle books, but I stopped after 30 pages or so. Dennis McCallum has an impeachable record as one of the most qualified and reputable Christian writers/researchers. He only deals in documented facts/figures, while citing only the most credible scholars and researchers to support his thesis. Well worth the read.

I appreciate how it goes over scripture and the author doesn’t make up his own assumptions. Very helpful in being aware of the lies that deceive us and what my identity truly is!
