AkozonRF Amplifier, ADS-B 1090MHz RF Front-end Radio Frequency Low Noise Amplifier 38dB Gain LNA

This filter/amplifier failed to work when put together with my rtl-sdr dongle. It was tried with RTL1090 which failed to pick up any messages from transponders once connected. I then wanted to find out why so I put it on my spectrum analyser with a tracking generator and found it to be tuned to 1068 mhz which was 40db up from what 1090 mhz was (insertion loss of around 18db). I may have just been the unlucky one to get a bad filter but my advice is to buy a known good filter rather than waste money on this one.
