Well, the good news is, it is cheap.The bad news is, it is cheap.Why manufacturers insist on having minimum protection for the wires coming out of the tablet plug in port is beyond me. The plastic/rubber wire protector splits open, exposes the wire, the wires twist, break, and then this device is useless.

Not much to it. It just works.

The cable does not function. I've tried to plug it into a usb charge port. I've tried to use it as a data transfer cable in a pc. I've tried to plug it into a wall usb outlet that i have in my home. It is as of this point worthless. windows wont recognize it at all. I have a 8 dollar piece of rubber plastic and copper wire that serves no purpose.Update: I was sent a new cable. I plugged it in and again it will not work. I've tried 3 different computers now all windows based. I've used two different wall outlet jacks and 3 wall wart plugs with usb inputs to check for even power transfer. It may be that even though this is advartized as functioning with the asus tf101 that it will not. If you look at the internals of the plug it does not even have the same number of contacts that the stock plug has. The seller emailed me and asked to change the rating if the new cable worked which i would have happily done however having two cables with the exact same problems I must keep the one star rating and request a refund.
