Mountlaser 360° Prism for Leisca, Topscon, Sokskia, Nikon Total Stations - With Padded Case, Glass Protector and Pole Adapte (L4 360° Prism Set)

I run a Geomax Zoom 90 robotic total station and I was looking for a less expensive 360 prism option than the $900 Geomax ZRP1 prisms. I’ve only had this prism for a few days but so far it seems to work fine and size wise is identical to the Geomax prism. It also has the same 23.1 mm offset as the Geomax. It doesn’t have the nice rubber coated case of the Geomax, instead it has a hard metal case. But seeing how it’s 1/4 the cost of the name brand prism, I will live with it! I also won’t feel so bad if the prism gets dropped and broken. I’ve run some measurement tests with it and it seems to measure within .005’ of the authentic Geomax so survey closures and accuracy should be good.”

I was so excited for this prism and there are cheaper options out there but this one reeeeally looks liked quality, however it came right out of the case IN HALF! And if that didn’t suck enough there’s no mounting accessories for a actual prism rod, I mean seriously this won’t mount on my rods or any of the rods in my entire company. The older surveyors warned me I’d be ripped off, I’ll try to reach out to the seller and see if they have a solution that isn’t me waiting four months and paying the shipping g for them.
