Works on a 1984 Roland Jazz Chorus 77 (JC-77)
Measured the impedance difference between the OEM tank and this replacement, ... close enough. I did not like the sound of the original 2 spring reverb tank, barely used the reverb. Now, its starting to randomly feedback on itself and generate some ugly noise, so went ahead and ordered this one and see what its like.I don't have any other spring reverb tank that I can compare it with, but this one is a good replacement to the original 2 spring reverb. I've only tested it on my amp for half a day, so far I'm impressed. We'll see later in time how this unit holds up, perhaps I will order a version with longer springs.

Easy installation
4 stars because the tone is nothing to write home about. However, the installation took about 30 seconds (once the chasis was removed) and it works fine. No modification needed for my JC120.

Sound is fine, not exactly noteworthy
Not at all as advertised. Nowhere near a direct swap for the original tank. Massive modification required to make it work. Sound is fine, not exactly noteworthy, but with the amount of effort required to install it, it should sound like a choir of angels. Buyer beware. Yes, it's a decent sounding, fairly well built tank. It IS NOT a direct replacement, not even close.
