I had to replace my original 15 year old front light post lamp due to HOA rules in my development (the old one was pretty rusted out). This unit is exactly the same as what I had before, and was very straightforward and easy to install -- and I'm definitely no electrician! It looks great and works great. I've only had it a few weeks, so can't comment on how it stands up under the weather, but hopefully I'll get at least 10 years out of it!

I bought this lamp because it looks like the original one put in by the builders. and to be honest I didn't want to have to visit the HOA for the next 6 months and argue over the color, shape, size, or number of bulbs in the post lamp all the while racking up fines for "non-conformity" of the covenants. The reason I had to replace the first lamp is that the top leaked when it rained and would short out the light on occasion not that big of a deal really, I thought since the light was out I was saving money until the HOA decided that the light being out constituted a violation of the covenants and should I not resolve the problem that I should be fined. Side note I find it amazing how they always looked at my light right after it rained. I personally think it's some crazy busy body who has too much free time, After all who else has time to sits on the HOA board, and complain about your grass not being 6 inches or less because it's been raining for the last 2 weeks and it's kind of rude to cut the grass at 10PM on Monday. Unlike you HOA fascists, I have a real job that I need to do in order to keep my house and just cause you think I should use my vacation time to cut my grass doesn't mean that I don't have more grandiose ideas of how to spend my time far away from you.This lamp comes with a metal plate that helps prevent water from dripping on the light.

Four of the 6 glass panes were loose and damaged.

Our twenty year old light shorted out and we replaced it with this one. It was easy to install and looks great. We recommend it.

Cheap and not worth the money. It's no different in quality than other cheaper lights I have used.Stick with the $40 range.Poor quality for this price point.

It's good size, good shape and good price. Our same old one got water on the bottom inside after raining, so it got rusted and made the light bulbs short lived a decade of usage later. So we bought the same one, but worried about the same issue.Later on we noticed a small hole on the bottom inside, we adjusted the level a bit so the water can leak out from that hole. Hope it lasts... just modified my review accordingly.

This is the third lamp post that I’ve purchased over the years. This is the best built and solid one yet. I would definitely buy this again. Good value

It matches ones we bought over 20 years ago. Looks beautiful and connects easily! Exactly what we needed around our pool.
