I order this Golden Retriever to replace our other Old World Golden Retriever because while gently packed away our first retrievers nose somehow got broken. I like the style of this retriever even more. My husband had a Golden Retriever before we met and it is his preferred breed.The detail, like most Old World ornaments, is perfect and unlike most ornaments with glitter, the glitter on Old World ornaments does not flake off as much as other ornament brands.Old World Ornaments are delicate so store them carefully. I bought this ornament to memorialize our dog, Daisy. Very pleased with the ornament. I love the smile and the golden eyes. The curly fluffy tail is so cute. And for us, the best part are the daisies in the grass. The added glitter sparkles nicely. And the teal bandana is so cute. The glass doesn’t seem too thin, so hopefully it will withstand being packed away. A nice way to honor your pet.

I have a Christmas dog tree. I get lots of complements on the tree and a few of the ornaments are the Old World brand. They have a nice selection of breeds. Ordered the black lab and was very pleased.
