Going off to graduate school and decided to treat myself to a new MacBook Air. The first thing I decided I needed was some type of keyboard cover to prevent the dreaded "greasy keys" I knew would be affecting my MacBook over time. For starters, this cover is a great value for the cost -- you get two keyboard covers in the package. It's great to have an extra if needed, otherwise, I can't imagine having to replace the cover anytime soon (with gentle usage of course). It is impeccably measured, this cover has absolutely SEAMLESS coverage! Utterly a perfect fit, couldn't be happier with that. The cover recesses between the keys to really settle itself in, but doesn't cover the fingerprint reader so your accessibility isn't affected. It's also paper thin, and made of a flexible but durable plastic, as compared to some thick, silicone cover squishing and squashing with every keystroke. This cover's fit ensures it won't move as you type, which is amazing. It's also essentially invisible. Definitely recommend!!

Though it's not perfect, this product is the best of its kind that I've tried to-date. It's unobtrusive, doesn't inhibit key presses and is relatively clear so as to not block the backlight. I particularly like the soft (not tacky) texture to the outer surface. My only qualms are that the key indents are not entirely precise. They are off about a millimeter, which makes the cover slide ever so slightly. This leads me to my second qualm... if they could find a way to make the underside slightly tacky, this would prevent any slippage at all and make this thing completely transparent.Regardless, for $7, this is a bargain and really, given the known issues with Apple keyboards in modern MacBooks, this is cheap insurance. I only wish Apple would ship one with every MacBook!

Does the job well. Covers all the keys with an absolutely perfect fit. Once on, it won’t budge. So thin I don’t notice it when I type. After a month of use: zero stretch. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.The only drawback is that the material while perfect for this use isn’t completely clear: a bit cloudy and really blah looking. I so wish they had this material in colors, but I couldn’t find anything like that either on Amazon or elsewhere on the web.

Bought this keyboard cover for my son's late 2018 MacBook Air with Retina Screen and Touch ID. I was initially concerned because the price was low and assumed that the quality was cheap. I was wrong-I've only had this cover on his MacBook for about a week and a half but I'm pretty impressed thus far.The cover sits flush to the keys and does not move when you type. It's almost as if there wasn't a cover on the keyboard.The cover will protect from dust and crumbs but I don't believe it will fare well with liquids as the cover sits on top of the keyboard (there is no adhesive that will seal out liquids). The cover does not get in the way of typing nor does it impact the backlight keys.I strongly suggest you buy this keyboard cover for the late 2018 MacBook Air.

This is a great way to protect my keyboard. I was so happy to have it while camping this past week. I knew nothing could ruin the keyboard as I worked outside at the picnic table as acorns and leaves were falling all around me. The cover stays in place, even upon opening the laptop. I do keep forgetting it is there, as it does not affect the view or the touch of the keyboard. It is almost an illusion - it works so well, without being noticeable.

*Photos provided to show the skin in real world use and to backup my review*Perfect fit, thin but durable TPU material (MUCH better than a silicone skin), caps over each individual key instead of just "laying on-top" like silicone versions, keyboard lights show thru great, protects against dust and I'm sure would minimize damage from a minor liquid spill. The skin looks like a "frosted clear" color but it's optically completely clear once it's on the keyboard.

I was concerned that I might not be able to use the Touch ID pad with this, but the keyboard cover simply cuts around it, so the key is fully functional. I have always used silicone covers in the past, and I think TPU is definitely a better solution. Silicone covers tended to slide around like an area rug on hardwood when I was typing quickly. This cover stays put. I haven't spilled anything on my new MacBook Air yet (thank goodness!), but I'm assuming that the Supmega cover will shield the keyboard as well as any other cover would. Very pleased with my purchase.

I tried this out on my gold MacBook Air, but it did not stay on the keys. Each time I opened my MacBook or when I was typing, the cover would slide off. Wish it would had worked because it the cover is clear, thin, and no need to worry about the letters rubbing off like with other covers . Also if you're looking for a cover that makes typing a little quieter, look for another cover because this one is thin.
