These were suppose to be OEM. They, for the most part did resemble the ones that came with the helmet. I only installed one, because one was broken. I think I had removed my helmet maybe three times during our ride and had no issues. We arrived back home, and I removed my helmet, only for what I thought at the time, the other original break. Upon further inspection, I find the new one had broke, so I put the other new one on. On our next ride, the second new one broke the first time I had to remove my helmet. Apparently, the rivet that holds the snap together appears to not have been riveted correctly, allowing the snap to pull apart.
