A must have.
I absolutely love this pot! Great mid-sized pot for cooking pasta or soups. Not too light and not too heavy. Handles stay relatively cool. Clean up is a breeze! Had one very small scratch on the exterior that could only have happened during the initial packaging from the manufacturer, but so minor that I do not care. It doesn't affect it's usage. This is my go-to pot for smaller preps. I really love the handles, as I didn't want a long handle that can be bumped or in the way of other pans. For stews and such, I will continue using my Lodge and le Crueset, but they won't ever see as much action as this gem!Bonus...the color is great!

Good stockpot
I have many cookwares from the Anolon Advanced Bronze Collection. This 4.5 quart stockpot and the 3 quart sauce pot are my favorite. I've cooked rice and curry, and they are fabulously non-stick and easy to clean. Rubber handles stay cool, and are very comfortable to hold onto. The bottom of this pot is a bit smaller than the top, measuring 7 inches in diameter instead of the 9.5 inches at the top.One area of improvement is the exterior finish. The bronze hue is of an elegant shade. Unfortunately, it is not scratch resistant and can be chipped off. So be careful cleaning and avoid coming into contact with any sharp object.

Excellent size, Excellent non-stick properties
As the title says, the size and non-stick surface are simply excellent! The instructions specifically say to wash by hand; this is the first time I've seen that instruction as more than just a generalized suggestion. I like that this Analon stockpot is a nice weight without being either too heavy or too flimsy. It arrived well packaged. I have since purchased a set of these pots and pans. The lid for this stockpot also fits several of the frying pans from the set.My first set of pans was a glass set with non-stick bottom. They were dreadful. I replaced them with an Analon set (sorry, I don't remember which kind now) that held up very nicely until the non-stick coating started to peel off. This took more than ten years to happen, so I can't complain too much. I have also used cast-iron and stainless steel pans. Cast-iron is super heavy. That said, once seasoned I don't have trouble with food sticking, but aside from giant lodge pots, it is hard to find anything other than frying pans in cast iron. I find stainless cooks soups nicely but with anything else they stick so badly, even with extra oil, that I would really have to soak and scrub to get the cooked-on food off. This would happen with anything from onions to bacon. I mention these so you know some of my "pan history".We will see how this pan holds up in the long run, and I'll update this review if I do have any troubles.

Love this line
I have a set of these pots and pans and love them. I have had them for 4 years. I wanted a pot that was inbetween the size on the large pot and the saucepan (3 qt). I love this pot. I love the handles on both sides. Makes it easy to cook and dump out. My sister in law thought I was crazy to buy pots and pans that I couldn't put in my dishwasher, but these wipe out with water and a sponge so easy. Never to use anything more than that no matter what I cooked. I will purchase more.

Nice size - the seam on the lid is normal!
Nice middle size pot from the range I like. After reading some reviews I was initially alarmed to see that the lid on mine indeed had a seam. However I contacted Anolon directly with a photo and they confirm that it is how it should look. This pot, unlike others in the advanced bronze range, has a tapered shape and the lid has a thicker steel rim, which is why the seam looks so obvious compared to the others which have a very narrow steel trim for a rim. So all in all I’m pretty happy. It washed well and is great for non stick performance.

Lighter weight than some of the other Anolon Advaced pieces I own . . . .
I purchased the Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 11-Piece Cookware Set a couple months ago and I really like it so I wanted to order some additional pieces to add to my set. I like the size of this pan - not to big or not to small. The problem is with the metal fabrication of the pan. This pan is not as heavy and durable as the others I received in the 11-pc set. It is a lighter weight construction. I feel that maybe the manufacturer "skimped" a little in the fabrication to save money. I am keeping the pan because I like the size, and the construction is good, but its not as nice as the other pieces I previously purchased. I would be hesitant to order additional pieces that match this set for this reason.

Replacement was MUCH better than the first one!
UPDATE: Returned the stained, one-use pot and got another, identical, pan from Amazon, this time to MUCH better results. Not sure what the problem was with the first pan, but there have been no staining issues with the replacement pan, nor with the other three (of various sizes) Anolon pans that I've picked up since then. The other pans, and this replacement, have done stellar duty -- even heating, easy clean-up, fine non-stick surface (remembering not to heat higher than medium, though!).... Would I buy this pan again, or any of the other Anolon pans? The answer is yes I would, and yes, I already have!* * * ORIGINAL REVIEW IS BELOW * * *Used this pot for the first time, heating up a couple cans of soup. Nothing major, right? Wrong. In attempting to clean the pot afterward, discovered the soup -- Progresso vegetable, if it matters -- had stained the interior surface of the pot. (This, despite four rounds of cleaning attempts.) Call me crazy, but this scene sure seems like very, very bad news for a nonstick surface. I've enjoyed Anolon products in the past and found them to be superior... until now. By default, this is either a one-use pot, or a good one to stage on top of a stove in a model home, and abandon any thought of actual use in cooking.

it is very good pot stock
it is very good pot stock. I've been told not to used it on very high heat on electric gas and likewise, I've been using it on medium heat and my vegetables are cooked very well. The only thing I would say if it would be little bit wider it would be perfect. but still, it is great for the price. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

Great quality cookware
Great quality cookware, cleans like a dream. Minor issue - water seems to get into the lid (stuck between the metal rim and the glass), but other than that a great stockpot. Only downside is I'm having troubles finding the other parts of the same series.

SEEMS JUST FINE SO FAR
Haven't used it much because I don't cook a lot, but so far it's worked out very well. For once in my life I'm taking proper care of a cooking pot and hope it pays off in lengthy use. Very attractive looking, too.
