for photo paper, printer, dryer, home.......
I've tried a lot of things to lower static. Endust has polished in it and there are a couple of other clothes cling products, all about $9 a tiny can.I tried this brand in their large aerosol can and it does work, without the added cleaners (I think they make a staticide with cleaner if you want that). I mount some photos on foam core, and with cats around, the paper is like magnets. You can spray an area, but I've applied to the printer in a light spray and the room with the printer. Instantly, no static. I have a shop bench brush also with the spray on it. It takes a tiny amount. But, this worked so well, have put on a sofa and bed cover, and less cat hair. A spray in the dryer also aids dryer sheets.I think the aerosol is good for most people, as you can get a fine film. But, this gallon is so inexpensive for me this was the way to go. Put in a spray bottle, it is cheap. The bottle arrived from Amazon in a heavy sealed bag, no leaks.Photo printing from inkjet: without the spray the the photo exits the printer and you can see the cat hair flying fast to the print, as if magnetic. And, the hair embeds in the wet inks permanently. This stops all that. Have also noticed less dust in home in air, and this has helped manage some of the cat hair.

Really Works!
I was a little skeptical, but figured for <$30/gallon it was worth a try and boy am I glad I bought this! I'm in Colorado where it's very dry and with cold weather and forced-air heating I always have a little trouble with static shocks around my house. But for some reason my theater room is visited 10-fold by these static-shock fairies! It's so bad that if I forget to discharge by touching something non-high-tech that my movie projector will actually black out temporarily or my DVD player will shut down completely. And it bloody well HURTS when I discharge! So I got this ACL Staticide, put it in a spray bottle, and sprayed lightly on the carpet areas around my AV equip along with my sofa. It had a VERY slight chem-smell while wafting through the air from my spray bottle, but NO residual smell and I can't see any sign of residue on my AV equipment that was in the spray-path. I put down about 1 oz of product for the first application and figure I'll re-apply about once every week which will make this gallon last for about 2 years. I won't say I don't get ANY static shock, but I'd say the level of shock (pain, spark, potential damage) has dropped from an 8 or 9 down to a 1 or 1.5. Not a complete solution, but for the money it's a HUGE improvement and will likely prevent permanent damage to my projector, receiver, sub-woofer, DVD player or ME! Highly recommend as an inexpensive 85-95% reduction for household static issues. I may try it on my long-haired cat next. No, just kidding! Mostly... :)

So far, so good
This has almost solved our static problems with our new carpet. Only problem is that it doesn’t last very long. We have to respray every few days.

We just spray a fine mist. Even works on the plastic wraps we ...
I reload ammunition both as a home hobby and commercially so we had to have something that worked. After trying everything from grounded rubber mats to dryer wipes, we never could fully lick the problem until I came across this product! Not only does it keep gunpowder dry and the equipment it's in, I know use it though the home so the cat doesn't jump through the roof. It's been several years now and the product last at least six months. We redo everything every six months as a habit but it might last longer. The gallon jug is much more affordable and a little goes a long way. We just spray a fine mist. Even works on the plastic wraps we use on ammo pallets. Look no further, this puts an end to static and does not color or affect carpet or hard floors...lightly spray and let dry. Hope this helps....

Seems to work ok for about 12 hours, then needs reapply
Nice that it seems relatively non-toxic, and doesn’t leave any obvious residue. However, seems to work effectively for only about 12 hours before needing another coating. (In Maine wintertime, with humidity below 20%)

Does the job!
Using on a treadmill, and diluted by about half or more. Works like a charm. Less shocks, and much less dust cling.

Amazing & Long Lasting!
I bought this to alleviate an unbelievable amount static in my newly finished basement. The static would build up from the second you started down the stairs and discharge into anything you touched. In one light application I noticed immediate relief. It's been a couple months now and there are no signs it is coming back. I haven't noticed any adverse affects to the carpet. My only criticism is the fragrance is not my favorite, but that by no means takes away from my satisfaction.

Solves the static sting of new carpet.
I was done with causing a static arc flash every time I hit a light switch. My new carpet even had a static warranty but not sure what it covers because I couldn't go 5 feet without building up a charge. So I bought a gallon of this anti-stat, put it in a new pump sprayer and applied it to the carpet. PERFECT! No smell, no stickiness and no static. i could not be more pleased and grateful. Wonderful product!
