HF809 Hydraulic Facial Chair for Salons & Spas, PIB-HF809

This chair looks very good compared to other similar ones out there - it has a nice streamlined look to it. It rotates smoothly and has a nice range with height. I thought the base was was going to be all chrome, but it ended up being mostly white. It works in our studio though. My biggest issue with this chair is the stability of the back and leg rest adjustments. They are adjusted in an odd manor with a weird lever and spring, that seems to be held in place with a little pole, some tension and a prayer. It's kind of cumbersome and odd to adjust, and seems like it will fall back at any second. I've only had it for a week now, have done about 10 clients in it, and hoping I just get used to it. I also really hope that (the back rest especially) proves me wrong and stays put at all times and doesnt fall when I'm in the middle of a procedure, as I'm doing cosmetic tattooing! I'll try and leave an update after a few months. This chair seemed pricey to me, but I guess its still at the low end of the spectrum for hydraulic chairs with this kind of design. Wish me luck!***Update*** We figured out that the chair came assembled improperly- please check the springs and make sure they look exactly like the diagram included. These also take A LOT of muscle to correct, FYI, but perhaps if you check them before you stick the chair to the base it will be way easier, as we were doing it after the fact. now its waaay more stable and working great! My only little issue is that it is a little bouncy. But now it feels very stable & is a breeze to adjust! Happy!!
