you don't have to be girly to watch this chick flick . yes, It's silly, frothy and a bit daft on the surface; but it holds hidden messages. The leading female character (Reese) is a ditsy blonde; but she is basically a sweet, kind, funny person, who makes friends easily because she genuinely likes and cares about people. The plot is hardly new; boy decides to dump daft girlfriend when he goes to posh university to study law; so she enrols too. The moral is by working damn hard and being a nice person, we can achieve much more than we realise. One of my favourite films I can now watch on a dull, rainy afternoon, ( with chocs, fluffy slippers and a warm throw ) when I need cheering up!

A highly entertaining film that makes fun of rich blonde women but shows that at least one of them - Reese Witherspoon - is highly intelligent.I think women will love the fancy clothes and witty one-liner bitchy put-downs in Legally Blonde (all said with style and grace) and men will wish they had a girlfriend who looks this stupid and beautiful but still manages to have an IQ.What impressed me most about the film was that by the end of it I actually cared about the outcome of the trial and whether or not Elle (played by Witherspoon) won her case.The extras section hassome unused scenes and a documentary about the 40 different kinds of blonde hairstyles used and a great music video "Perfect Day" by Hoku.

The product itself arrived brand new and in plastic wrap.The film however... one of the best films I’ve ever seen. I am going to write an essay just to express my elation and mild obsession with how well Legally Blonde gets it’s points across in a poignant yet lighthearted and humorous manner. Simply brilliant! (Although the film is not a musical, I would also highly recommend the musical soundtrack to accompany viewing).

i love this film, cant say how many times i have watched it. reese witherspoon is so great, the girliness is so utterly fabulous and yet the message is definitely a feminist one, this film will always be in my top 10 which is high praise indeed, never get bored with it, magic moments as when she gets her manicurists dog back for her by spouting fake legal jargon, is fantastic, and our plucky heroine wins the day most satisfactorily against the misogynists and doubters, aided by a legion of very tough women. if you have been tempted to write this off as a chick flick, dont!!!!!!its much better than that.

Enjoyable comedy drama with a serious message at it's heart. Elle Woods arrives at Harvard Law School with the intention of becoming serious enough to win back her ex. She is intelligent enough to get in, however her the first impression of her peers makes life difficult for Elle - until she realises she actually has an aptitude for law and everything starts to change. A brilliant, feel good film that never fails to cheer me up.
