NuGiant NSS15 5-Outlet Wall Mount Power Surge Protector

Installation is a breeze, and thankfully i don't think i have needed to use it…and if i have it works wonderfully. All my electronics are still running great. i do like the little green light on it so you can know its working.

There is no way to reset it when you do have a power surg, which we often and that is why I bought this. Now after one surg it is useless. Unless anyone knows how to reset this?

I purchased this to use behind a wall mounted TV, so I didn't want to hang a strip. The only issue was the screw in the middle had to be removed. My outlet screws at the top and bottom and not in the middle. Otherwise it has worked perfectly and gives me other outlets to use while keeping my TV plugged in.

It's difficult to tell by the description and photos on Amazon but it requires an entire outlet (two plugs) in order to use it. And, the outlet cover must be removed. Aside from those minor drawbacks, it works flawlessly and the outlets are oriented in a way that many different types of plugs may be used without rendering another outlet useless.

this surge protector is easy to install and feels well-built and solid. the green led lets you know it's working-now all i have to do is wait for florida storm to see how effectively it works-hopefully i'll never find out!

I have had this installed in the kitchen for a while now, to try to prevent fires from appliances. It works really good for our application. We have a toaster, coffee pot, crock pot, and an ice tea maker all plugged in. It has worked perfect for stopping surges, at least ones caused by the appliance starting up. Its built solid, and we have had no issues with it or plugs being loose. After almost a years use, I am buying another one.

Same device & capabilities as those at twice the price. Am ordering more. Nice feature: the protector attaches to outlet with a screw so that it stays tight to the wall when unplugging power cords from it. Not all surge protectors have that feature.

This surge protector has a weird plastic prong that sticks out so when you plug in into a three-hole outlet, it stays in the wall. However, this plastic prong makes it impossible to put into a two-hole outlet. I bought this to plug into a weird little floor outlet our builder put into the landing area of our second story home... however, the plastic prong thingie made that impossible. This surge protector would work great in a normal, three-hole wall outlet.
