Cafe Caracolillo Cuban Espresso Ground Coffee 227.27 g (8oz)

Like another reviewer states...absolutely no bitter taste. At Casa Aliaga in Lima Peru, I had the best meal ever, which was served with surperb coffee. When I inquired as to the brand (expecting a Peruvian brand), I was shocked when the answer was Cuban Caracolillo.UPDATE: Still the best coffee ever with no bitter taste & no oily residue in our coffee press beaker...just rinse and let dry.......BEWARE for those it may matter: Have ordered 7 total units (last time, 5 at one time). One of the 5 packages was not firm & solidly packed like the other 4. It contained only about 80% of the usual coffee of the other packages. Admittedly, I Did not contact seller or return because of the hassle...besides...the seller should have known since the other 4 were different...but they decided to send a less than full package anyway.

I really enjoyed this coffee. It's flavor is different from the espresso brands I have found in stores, and I found it less bitter. It has lovely back notes, and I will buy it again.

ok coffee - store great

I was watching a reality show where Cuban coffee was the plot line and it inspired me to try it. It's truly is the best coffee I have ever tasted. Full flavored and rich you don't need any creamers or sugars to mask the bitterness cause it it far from bitter. One cup and my engine is ready to rock and roll all day. I am officially hooked now !

I'm a big fan of Caribbean espresso and this is one of the best common brands. Its a darker, more intense roast than Cafe Bustelo and has about the same richness of flavor as Pilon without the dirty after taste of some of the less expensive brands. Recommended!
