SauderBeginnings Storage Organizer/Book Shelf, L: 35.28" x W: 9.53" x H: 35.91", Cinnamon Cherry finish

I had already had one of these from a couple years ago. I was using it as a TV stand in my little apartment. The boxed shelves were great for holding movies, games, DVDs players. I was even able to use the extra shelves for some decorations. After getting a different TV stand for Christmas, I still wanted to keep this, so I ordered another one off of Amazon to make a "bookshelf wall." I was so excited that Amazon had the same one, since I had gotten the first one at a local variety store years ago. I now still hold movies but also books, decorations (like shown in the stock photo) and canvas inserts.It is more of a dark dark chocolate than cherry. It is just medium sized. It is fairly easy to put together. I put it together myself in about an hour. There was one piece missing (bolt) so I had to improvise. The hardest part is the middle shelf. So make sure you read all the directions before putting it together, instead of diving right in.I really like this style and have a couple other items from this brand. There's honestly nothing too special about it, since it is just a book shelf. But in store I got it for around $70 the first time, so it is a pretty big discount buying it from here.I think that there are many things you can do with it. Tv stand... Kids toy shelf... Bookshelf... Wine holder... Baby clothes holder, etc. if you get creative it would reall look good in any room!

I'm giving this 4 stars. They don't allow 3-1/2 stars here. There are some things that I like, and things that I don't like about this.1st. It is smaller then I expected. it appears to be roughly 70% or 80% of the size of the ClosetMaid version. So there is not as much storage. I wasn't expecting this, but this worked out in my favor. It fit into a corner which the ClosetMaid version would not fit into. But it not going to hold all of the things that the ClosetMaid will hold.2nd. between the instructions and the design, it's a good idea for 2 people to assemble this. The ClosetMaid version can be assembled by one person in less then 30 minutes. This will take nearly 2 hours. That is because the design is confusing, and one mistake means taking your work apart and starting over. The instructions are not as complete as the ClosetMaid version, either.While I read someplace that people were hanging this on the walls, I would steer away from that. I consider this too heavy for the wall.It will make a good book shelf for normal reading books. I am not so sure about large reference books fitting into it.Once it is together, it seems study. But you are going to be saying some choice words while you are putting this together.Assembling it and it's size are my criticisms of this. Otherwise, you will like this.

Very sturdy but was too small for the standard cubes so couldn’t use it for what I wanted. Not very please

I couldn’t find those little foldable box thingies to stick inside of it that were the right size. They were either like 1cm too large or I had to use ones that were a few inches shorter and didn’t look right.

Aloha Love Sauder affordable furniture for years! Missing my Son being a teen to put it together for me right about now = Im 65 yrs young gal and had some pieces the wrong way, even tho I was trying to look out for that :) It is dark brown (which I see in the Ad cinnamon cherry is dark) even tho I wuda preferred reddish, this will work and is very solid, well made, just like Sauder products for all the years Ive used them = Nothing for $40. like this cubby shelf! Booklet shows each shelf can hold 20 lbs with bottom shelf holding 70 lbs! Will display shells, a lamp, books, etc.PS I drove around Kauai to 3 well known big box stores & they did Not have Sauder shelves?? Mahalo Amazon right to my 3rd floor door =Happy Customer!!

I've put together a lot of furniture but this one was a bit of a challenge as the shelves did not align perfectly as this product required. It also tends to tip over easily but does not come with a wall bracket to secure it. But, the biggest challenge was that the size of the cubbies has made it impossible to find cubby storage cubes to fit it. The openings are 10"x10" and I could not find ANY this size via Amazon or Walmart or even the company that sells the shelf unit.

Es práctico para armar, tiene buen tamaño y capacidad y la calidad de los materiales es buena. Hubiera preferido otro color, pero este era el disponible.
