Works on Smith and Noble Roller Shades
TL;DR: I don't regret the purchase. It works like a charm. You'll just have to struggle with the creatively-worded instructions.I wanted to motorize two Smith and Noble roller shades (each about five feet wide and four feet tall), but I only bought one Rollerhouse (AKA Rollerhouses) motor assembly to try out. It works beautifully, and I just ordered a second one. It took me over an hour to figure out the charming pidgin-English instructions and to manhandle my existing shade to remove both ends of the tube (without completely ruining the shade material). I suspect the second one will only take me about 20 minutes to install. To determine the correct size before ordering, I removed the chain end from one roller shade tube. I measured the tube diameter, but I also noticed that Smith and Noble prints the size on the end piece. Mine said "25mm," so that's what I ordered. When I first tried to put the motor tube inside my shade tube, it wouldn't fit, and I thought I'd ordered the wrong size. But it turned out that the company had pre-fitted it with adapters for a larger tube. They provide the correct "crown and drive adapters" needed, and it only took me another 15 minutes to figure out how to get the larger ones off!The instructions for setting up the remote are clear, but the diagram does not quite match the remote they sent. In order to both pair the remote with the motor and set bottom and upper limits, you'll need to remove the remote's battery cover and access two small buttons found inside, marked C (for confirm) and L (for limit). One review suggested a battery was not included, but mine had a new CR2450 in the box. What is NOT included are the four screws that will attach the brackets. So don't throw your existing ones away! The recharging cord looks very short in some of the promotional illustrations, but it's actually about five feet long. In any case, it's very easy to just remove the shade if you need to move it near a power outlet when it needs recharging. The instructions say that it takes 5-6 hours to charge. It seems to have been mostly charged before going into the box, so you won't need to wait half a day before installing it.The limit settings work well, so, after pressing the up or down arrows on the remote once, it will stop exactly where you want it to. It's perfectly fast enough for me. And it's pretty quiet.Cat Owners Alert: The motor end-piece has a four-inch-long wire antenna that protrudes horizontally and is semi-visible when the shade is open. That means cats will spot it immediately and try to play with it (just prior to destroying it and making your Rollerhouse--AKA Rollerhouses--useless). My temporary solution was to use some painter's tape to attach the wire to the wall. So far, the cats are none the wiser. But we'll see. They're pretty clever.

6 month review. Works great in an RV
I purchased one of these with an eye toward automating the blinds in my live aboard 1968 Airstream RV. The kit comes with the motor, mounting brackets, charger and remote. One thing that I really liked was that the mounting brackets were made of metal. Because my blinds were so short, I was able to modify the brackets to reduce their profile dramatically and was able to tuck them very neatly under the existing valences. I used 3/4 inch metal electrical conduit from Home Depot as the roller tube and purchased a very inexpensive (+/- $7) vinyl blind from Walmart from which I salvaged the actual blind material. The installation of the first blind was very simple to and took about 45 minutes to install. One thing peculiar to the Airsteam was that the walls fall away from the plane of the blind when it was installed so I cut down the top my window screens about a 1/4 inch which gave the blind a 1/8 inch slot to feed into between the screen and the window and follow the inside arc of the screen while maintaining the screens function. Wow! I was blown away by how slick and seamless the blind worked and appeared when it was installed and adjusted. One quick side note: the included remote setup instructions were beyond cryptic, but a quick search on youtube made everything clear and simple. The setup instructions were the one criticism that I had with this item, but I'm giving it five stars anyway because I was so pleased with the final appearance and functionality of the product. I contacted the company and arraigned to purchase six more of these to do all the windows in the Airstream. As the additional charging cables and remotes were redundant, the seller agreed substitute two multi blind remotes and free shipping in lieu of the unneeded items. Great communication and flexibility on the seller's part, by the way. I was so happy with the Walmart blind material that I used it on all of the windows and can change them out later if I want with a minimum of effort and cost. I set my blinds up as 3 separate groups that I can operate independently or together very simply (and impressively) depending on different conditions. Six months on, I have charged the blinds once about 4 months in and using the +/- 6 ft charging cable and am using the blinds on a near daily basis. For the Airstream, at least, the Wow factor on a 53 year old trailer is through the roof and blows people away with how slick it looks and works.

Excellent customer service! - Product Just Installed works perfectly., will update after 1 month
I placed an order for the motor for my motorized blinds. I had removed the previous motor so I knew all the specifications I needed. I'm handy and do most things myself , so I believed I had order the right part. After I placed the order, the company reached out to me and ensured through photos, that I had indeed ordered the correct part. This was not needed as I had measured etc, to ensure I had the right size, speed and remote frequency etc. That being said, they went above and beyond to ensure I did have the correct part, instead of just letting me figure it out and hope everything would work out.I installed the new motor, paired it with my old remote (I made sure the frequency was the same as my current remote), set the new motor limits and my "favorite" position and boom! Good as new!So for anyone that might be afraid to do a DIY motor replacement for your motorized blinds; rest assured that if you're ordering, they will ensure you have the correct part and that it will work with whatever motor you are replacing for your current motorized blinds system. You can YouTube how to replace the motor. Super easy. I saved myself over $600. The company that I originally purchased my blinds from, wanted to replace the entire set of blinds just because of the motor. They said I couldn't even get a motor for it. Do your homework and you should be able to save alot of money!Very happy so far!

Funciona como yo queria
The media could not be loaded.
