This yarn is great for beginners because there’s a lot of it in case you need to rip out or redo it. It’s a great value to start your crochet/knit journey with. As you get better at your craft, check out the stores for softer feeling acrylic yarn, like premium acrylics and such. There is much softer yarns out there but this is great for certain projects.

You get what you pay for, not super soft
This is fab for a person on a budget. It's not really soft, but is wonderful for arts and crafts. I've made a couple of scarves out of this, and after a couple of washes the yarn seemed to get softer. The texture isn't unbearable, but you can definitely tell the difference between this yarn and a more expensive brand.

It’s durable
I made a heavy blanket with this yarn, doubled with another color. It turned out very nice. It doesn’t get tangled like other yarns I have worked with. It’s not an electric blue, but still has a vibrant look. I ordered many skeins and all matched the same color scheme.
