RUDIS Snyder CALIGA Midnight/Battle Red Adult Wrestling Shoes

Love the look and was super excited to get these shoes. We were lucky enough to get one of the first 2016 pairs that were autographed by Kyle Snyder. We wanted to keep them as a collector's item so bought another pair. They run at least a full size smaller than other wrestling shoes. The soles took quite a bit of wearing in and had my son slipping all over the wrestling mat. The eye holes for the laces were like threading a needle. It was extremely hard to get the laces through the holes especially in the upper shoe. Then, once he started wrestling in them the tongues continued to slide down the shoe no matter how we laced them or what we did. They were extremely comfortable when he put them on, but after wrestling in them for a while and constantly having to pull the tongues up, we just feel the shoe is not worth the high price tag. We are trying to sell them used now to get a new pair. We understand it is Rudis maiden voyage with wrestling shoes, so we hope the next round is better. We own lots of their other gear and have always been satisfied so the shoes are a real let down.
