So I ordered TWO other products trying to find something to prank our Administration team with. The first wouldn't record properly and picked up all the background noise; the second recorded, but the volume would be so low you had to put it up to your ear with silence all around. THIS on the other hand. I love that the volume is nice and loud as well as clear, but they also give you a bank of prerecorded sounds/noises to add in there. Really a great product and well-executed. The icing was that the directions were recorded right onto it and the cherry that batteries came with! Will continue to order this product if needed in the future and refer it to others easily.

This was exactly what I was looking for! So easy to upload multiple sound files for each to play per push of the button. I basically recorded several sayings on my Easy Voice Recorder phone app and then downloaded them to a file on my computer and then simply connected the USB of the push button and dragged the files over in the order I wanted them to play. That was it!!! And they played! Great volume too! Not too loud, not too quiet. If you don't like the order or you want to start over, you just remove the files from the USB and start over. It supposedly works on MAC computers too, but I don't have one. The only slight flaw is that on a few occasions, when the button was pushed, nothing happened. So you just push it again and it continues to play the recordings. I was able to upload a full music file to see how that would work and it worked great too.

This thing is really fun to play with. Hook it up via the included USB cable and drop MP3 files onto the internal memory (7MB). I put 108 sound clips on mine from my favorite TV Shows and movies and still can fit a few more. The clips are reproduced clearly on the speaker- if your file is clear, it sounds pretty darn good. My only suggestion would be to add a volume control as it is quite loud. - I actually took mine apart and installed a volume control from a broken radio I had laying around. Much better :-)

After researching for a bit, I found this to be the best quality “do it yourself” programmable customizable sound button. I wanted a simple sound that was unique. The button comes with audio instructions and very simple to set up. I had my preferred sound programmed in less than 5 minutes and I use an iMac. Can be used easily on both Apple and Windows computers for customization. Sound comes in nice and clear, you’re able to adjust volume during the programming phase. Loved it so much wanted to get a second for my parents! I’d highly recommend this device because it’s made of good quality components for the price, solid build and very easy to set up and use.***UPDATE***As disheartening as it is for me to have to do this, because the customer service person to whom I spoke with who helped me with my original purchase was VERY helpful and courteous, I feel like this is in order. My buttons hasve STOPPED working. I ordered one for myself and one for my parents, the one for my parents did not work out of the box and was replaced free of charge (of course). The sound files are still there, no sound at all. Batteries changed, no difference. Unfortunately this is what happens 9/10 times with products that are manufactured with cheaply-made Chinese parts, they just STOP WORKING. I'd rather pay the $20 for something that is made of quality components than throw-away garbage that has been cared for and kept in good shape to just die and in such a short time. UNACCEPTABLE!

PROS:- The product was easy to set up and load sounds onto, no fuss there.- The speaker is located on the bottom but personally I had no problem hearing its output clearly.CONS:- The button seems very particular as to what constitutes a press – the one I got needs to be pressed right in the middle, at a steady pace, and relatively firmly, or else nothing happens. With a large PUSH button the temptation is to palm the thing but that rarely seems to work.- There's no volume control so it's up to you to amplify or lower the sounds of the clips you put on (or muffle the speaker, I suppose).- For some reason, the batteries keep becoming misaligned or something. I've had a few times in the two weeks I've been using it that the whole thing seemed to be broken, but opening the battery case and removing/putting the batteries back in restored functionality. No idea what's going on there – perhaps some issue with the spring contacts.Overall, it works as advertised; I can't say I have any major complaints. Still, the comedic-timing-ruining silence from a slightly-misaligned button press or battery issue holds it back.

I bought this button with the expectation of it just being a fun novelty. Little did I know that this would be such an incredible gadget! Initially, I had some difficulty downloading the files, but when I emailed for assistance, I received an almost immediate reply with several options. It turned out it was a firewall at work preventing me from downloading the files. Once we figured out the issue, it has been so much fun finding mp3 files online and adding them to the button. I work in a school and as you can imagine, kids (and adults) cannot resist the temptation to push a button. It's fun to see their reactions to the various soundbytes I have added. The support team has gone above and beyond all expectations and I am so impressed with their quick responses and remedies for any issues I may encounter. I am going to be buying several more of these as gifts. It is easy to personalize and you will have a ball selecting the various sounds to use. Fun! Easy! Makes everyone smile!
