My items came well packaged and was really happy. I read reviews saying that the products needed touching up but found it was perfect, I now have a beautiful xmas village.

It as nothing like it looked online, the images were very decieving. It was a present and it was not a product worth $98.00 and both I and the receiver were greatly disappointed!

I give this 3 stars because it is the exact size that I was looking for however the buildings look like a 3rd grader painted them. I did not understand how the tiny accessories were painted great but the big buildings are so horrible. I kind of wish they were not painted when I got them because I know I even could of done a better job.

It's prefect size for limited space. You can do more with it then large scale sets.
Yes Dollar Tree sells it $36.00 . It is prefect size for those who have limited space. I have 115 buildings to make up a whole village plus three trains two are On30 ho scale. They travel around the whole village. Cobblestone Corners has it's own train. Mayfair.com sells 9" spacing white wire 50 clear mini lights. I use these to light up the buildings. Building scale are some where between HO and On30 scale. Figurines are defiantly O scale size. This is a very fast way to set up a very nice colonial country town with trains and looks realistic. Most of the local government buildings Cobblestone Corners makes them. The Police Station they do not make them. My Santa buildings came from another village set of same scale buildings. Larger buildings take up a lot of space. I have mountains and tunnels one has a working water fall. Mini lights are perfect not to bright. All this plus over 30 horse and wagons fit on 8' x 4' table You can not do this with large scale buildings with this amount of buildings. They do not take up much space to store them. Tables four 2' x 4' folding tables to make one 4' x 8' table. They do have verity buildings to choose from plus figurines some Lamex and Department 56 accessories work with this even better like their mountains and nature pieces.
