Outboard Motor Pull Starter Cord. Guaranteed for Life!

I bought this to replace my broken pull cord based on reviews. I have to say this cord is more than I expected. I am glad to have paid the extra money for this product. I am blown away from the quality of this pull cord and excited to see how long it will last in the humidity of the south and the constant use in salt water.

SO so worth it

OK, when they say this stuff is tough, they mean it. I don't know what it is made of but it is so tough that it is nearly impossible to cut. Not even wire cutters will get through it. So, this is both good and bad. It's good because it should never wear out. It's bad if you have to shorten it.

this product is crap you can tie all the knots you want in the rope and it stretches and pulls through the handle or the bottom in the case which is fun to take off 10 times to re tie this garbage rope.

I used this on my Honda ATC 185. I was breaking pull cords left and right (admittedly a 30 y/o cord and cheap Chinese pull cords) and it was incredibly frustrating to have to take apart the assembly and rewind/replace pull string.I have not had any issues other than one time I pulled the knot out (still didn’t break this string.) highly recommend for higher compression engines and the length is great too

This is awsome stuff. Installed on 64 johnson 9.5 seahorse. It can be a little cumbersome to work with. You have to pull it tight to get it in tight places and it will NOT melt on the ends with a flame, like s typical poll rope, so I advise placing a small piece of heat shrink over the end to prevent fraying. But this stuff is very tough and snag/abrasion resistant.

I'm sure it will last forever and blah blah blah. The most important think to note is that it in fact does not burn, melt, or react to heat in any way. If you buy this you MUST buy shrink wrap. It tethers and unraveled so easily. It is very strong and I'm sure it is great but without a way to install it it is useless. Great product, but make sure you buy shrinkwrap.
