The Irregular at Magic High School Complete Box Set Blu-ray

I’ve really wanted to own this series for a while, since every time I watch it I end up wanting to watch the entire thing again. I had purchased it elsewhere, but it turned out to be barely watchable bootleg.These blue-Ray’s are the genuine article, well packaged, and they’re absolutely gorgeous on screen. The price was steep, but I’m not regretting my purchase!

I remember years back, I swore I would never buy any Aniplex USA releases, since their asking prices for their releases are MUCH more expensive than other domestic anime distributors. But as with anything else I purchase, if I can find a good deal, I'll go for it. This show is really good and I have been wanting to own it for quite a while on blu-ray, so when I found a pretty good sale price on it, I snatched it up. I'd be lying if I said the "sale price" wasn't pretty expensive, but it was about $20-30 cheaper than I have seen for this box set, so I said "what the heck". The overall quality of this release is really good. The show on blu-ray looks and sound amazing. The packaging is really nice too. As for the show itself, if you like high school settings with magical and physical (hand to hand and weapon-based combat) battles, then this show is one of the better ones out there. Plus, there is a lot of intrigue, witty humor, and some drama thrown in for good measure. The animation quality, soundtrack, and character designs are top-notch. Lots of memorable character, whether it be for good or bad reasons, to boot. So if this all sounds like your cup of tea and you're not against shelling out a fair amount of money, you really can't go wrong buying this great show.

The show on blu-ray looks and sound amazing. The packaging is really nice too and its great add to my anime collection 5/5 star. Can't wait for season 2 of series.

The subtitles would reset every episode even though it was running the whole Blu-ray as a single movie. There wasn't really a menu. I ended up just rewatching it on Netflix.

The DVD was in good working order.

That price is a joke

Didn’t like the price but wasn’t sure where else to get it, but after getting it I don’t regret it to much, yes it’s expensive but it works perfectly, it’s only sub which is fine, I get to watch it when ever I wanna, so I’m a happy camper
