I like the fact that has a USB powered LED light. Yeah alligator clips are a little small and not very sturdy. It’s a nice little workstation for the money.

Gave the unit to my son for his projects and he is very satisfied. I think it is well made and very useful for the user.

The magnifier itself is pretty good, and the helping hands are ok. I am not a huge fan of USB A cables, and the one they give you is flimsy thin wire and too short to reach any outlet near my soldering setup. So you either will need a desktop USB port, a long extension cord, or regular batteries to power this thing. Frankly, it should have a rechargeable battery and a longer USB cord that I could reach an outlet with. The second issue I have is that I would like to be able to put it away in the box when its not in use, and it doesn't easily disassemble for storage. There parts are screwed together so you will need to go find some tools and waste some time to take it apart.

This is very helpful, for my son. He is just learning to solder and this holds the boards and provides the magnification he needs. There is a slight problem with the iron holder. The plastic on the holder assembly melts. That is minor, we can get around that.

This device is only one step above junk. If my livelihood depended on it, I would return it and try to find a better product. Since I am only a hobbyist, I will try to fix it and adapt to its flaws. The LED gooseneck was installed backwards, and it is very difficult to twist it around to illuminate the working area. The battery connections to the LED do not work; luckily, the USB power connector does work well. Installation screws were not easy to insert and one of the alligator clips was completely missing. A sad situation!

This is a fairly versatile product, and does what I expect it to do. The only drawback is the alligator clips, which are over agressive if applied to silicone insulated wires. A set of smooth jawed clips would be a big plus for this product.

I am sure that the more expensive versions of this tool are easier to manipulate, but this is my first one and I am really happy with it. The primary clamps can be difficult to get into place and stable, but overall I am very happy with the purchase. I especially appreciate the magnifying glass and light feature.

I’ve wanted a device like this for a long time. Works very well. Easy to use. Excellent value for money.

This product is an great help when soldering circuit boards, my only complaint is that two of the alligator clips completely fell apart. Not a big issue, I just ordered some and replaced them. I also have spares now in case one dies on me again. But it would be nice if the ones it came with didn't fail. Other than that, it's been good.

What can I say. The item I received appeared used and rusty on arrival.

This is a poorly designed product, avoid buying it. Look how the battery case is put together. There was a blob of glue holding the battery terminals in that didn’t even connect to the battery leads. Avoid this product and any other products they make. The funniest thing is they provided a USB plug but there is no connection to the device. I guess it’s wireless:)
