If you're wanting to learn the general basics of numerology, this is not the book for you. This author is a tad self-indulgent (no offence intended) in that the book is more or less his opinion on life, why we're here, etc. Some of his views you may agree with, but others you might not. Personally, I prefer a book to give suggestions of how and why things are as they are, but with qualifications to allow the reader to make up their own mind. There's a lot of information about the author's 'channelling' of Pythagoras, and more information about Pythagoras himself, but unless you're interested in learning about Pythagoras specifically, I think there are many other books which would be of more value to the person who wishes to learn and understand the in-depth details of numerology. But that's just my opinion...
