Behlen Brass Lacquer 13 oz. 3 cans

The best lacquer for brass I have found! No pealing, no chipping, just a beautiful thin elegant finish on brass. It is not too shiny which I like. I am a professional lighting designer and maker and use it to seal all my hand patinated items. I also use it on my satin brass finishes and it just seals without taking away any of the luminosity or adding too much. Goes on evenly. Dries almost instantly. I do have drips when I use too heavy a hand so just be careful to do light coats like you do with spray paint to avoid drips. This is my go to lacquer ... LOVE THE STUFF!

Finally found a decent brass sealer. All of the other sealers, clear coats and lacquers all left an orange peel, or milky, or dull finish. The secret is to start with two light coats and finish with a heavier coat. I use this on polished antique brass and/or copper fire extinguishers and they look great.

Good product. Nice satin finish on metal leaf. Fast dry.

Amazing product! I've never used a spray paint with such a fine mist, no runs, went on perfectly!
