Worthy of an Expecto Patronum
Wow! What can I say other than this is amazing. I've been lusting after this since the day it was released but the cost always put me off. Finally bought it and the wait was worth it. Unwrapping the box was fantastic. So much content and so well put together. The books are beautiful and very detailed. The graphics book is particularly interesting. However, nothing beats the excitement unboxing the monster book of monsters .If you are thinking about thins and it is a lot to consider with the huge cost - just go for it. It's not going to be around forever with only 3000 produced worldwide. This will increase in value - no doubt .

WOW! Amazing!
I must say when i first saw it i was like "oh yes gotta have this" but when i look at the price i was like "ugh s***".BUT i bought it and i couldnt be happier about this item its fantastic and when you think about it its not that expensive due to the many books you get with the content in it! Its truley amazing thing to have! Now i can enjoy my Harry potter moments even more and not just the 7 books and 8 movies but this too! To try to satisfy my infinit hungery for the Harry potter story! What to say about the books... very good quality on the photos and text. it truley shows that it is a limited edition item and not many of theese will be made! Each cover on the books are diffreant from the other, they are all diffreant from eachother and i love it! To the "The Monsters book of monsters" you get a black um "thing" (Lost the english word for it) That will push up the book and protect both the book and shelf and make it so it stands in a nice position!I havent regretted this item one bit and i recommend this item so any hardcore Harry poter fan like me! This item tho is not for any Harry potter fan, sure its fun for anyone to look through alltho its alot of money and maybe isent worth it for the Harry potter fans that like the books and movies but not as much! But yea i recommend this item!

AWESOME!!!! The ultimate Harry Potter Book Collection
This is what the fans have been waiting for. An amazing behind the scenes collection, beautifully put together and designed. The printing and finishing of these books is breathtaking. A fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the movie making process and the friendships made throughout the 10 years that the movies were being made. Highly recommended purchase for fans of Harry Potter and the movies in general.

Harry Potter in its element!
If you've ever watched the films and been fascinated by the books in the library (like I have) then you'll be stunned by this set. From the moment it was released I was desperate to purchase it, but the price put me off. I finally took the plunge and wish I'd done it sooner. The box it arrives in is very big and magical and when you open it the book set looks incredible. Pictures don't do it any justice. If your a big fan of Harry Potter you definitely need this beautiful set!

Fantastic collection of books
Fantastic collection of books for any HP fan. The books are beautifully presented, and contain so much detail and in-depth information about the making of the Harry Potter films. The only reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the version I received is an American one, and so constantly refers to the Sorceror's Stone rather than the Philosopher's Stone, which is a bit disappointing. I bought it from Amazon UK, but it was shipped from the US so I'm not sure if all 3000 are like this, or if there are British and American versions.

The perfection, if it exists
What can I say?The most beautiful thing I have ever bought! The print and fabrication quality is really impressive. The details are amazing, the time for designing these books had to be very very long.If you love the pretty collective objects, it's really worth it!

The magic came to life!
well all i could say is that harry potter has brought us on a journey and now we are able to see it for ourselves how they made it all happen it is breathtaking in so many ways but let me tell you the obvious ones ! the binding looks as though it came directly from Hogwarts and the limited amount they first attracts you to this rare collection is what tells you you are a fan above all! The service was fast and secure seeing as it was close to 1000.00$ so i felt a little uneasy but amazon.ca is always to be trusted! the books are amazing and well worth every cent that i paid cool thing is the fake book it is pretty cool

Spell-binding Book Collection
#1: Huge HP fan. #2: Big movie buff. #3: Love books. Is $1,000 expensive? Yes. Is $600 doable for this particular collection? YES.At a limited print run of 3,000 copies -- and the high quality of production and workmanship, it's worth every penny for a book collector, HP buff; or someone in art/film school. I like extras on DVDs/BDs; love production artwork, set design, et cetera. I'm sure Amazon had to pay a hefty price for printing rights on the pages upon pages of information and imagery not found in the Page to Screen book. Printing 8 over-sized books is not cheap. The low print run is going to spike the overall price. Every book is cloth covered, or uniquely textured; it's a real treat for book enthusiasts. It made my fingers happy.Remember Amazon Printing's Beedle the Bard limited book release?, of course this will be a pricey purchase for some. I live paycheck to paycheck... but this is a priority for me. The books took my breath away; was stunned by the quality of the 'Monster' book, the mini shelf is also fabric covered; just a unique and beautiful collection.Maybe they'll come out with another edition one day... increase the print run, lower the price, lower the quality -- with a plastic 'Monster' book, no cloth or faux-leather covering, take all of the special book treatment away, shelve the shelf, and presto change-o, a cheap humdrum edition for the Muggle-masses. I'm in debt, and it's worth every penny.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -3 NEW books to add to your Harry Potter Page to Screen: The Complete Filmmaking Journey Collector's Edition collection:COMMENT/NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR (<-- That's exciting!): "Not just a rerelease! These books are actually an all-new, incredibly comprehensive approach to their subject matter. In addition to the wonderful, magical creatures that we got to know and love, for the first time anywhere, The Creature Vault will include behind-the scenes information on all the real-life creatures -- Scabbers, Hedwig, Fang, et al. The Book of Magical Places will be in a much larger size to showcase the incredible artwork, includes 4 Privet Drive, and offers information about on-location shooting as well as studio environments. I mined the Muggle world for new interviews and never-before-revealed information, and drove my editor crazy with the megasized manuscripts I delivered. And the next one up after these two is The Character Vault. I read the comments here and really try to deliver what you want -- because it's what I want, too! Thanks, everyone, for letting us know your thoughts on these books. - Jody R"UPDATE; New Release: Harry Potter: The Creature Vault: The Creatures and Plants of the Harry Potter FilmsI have already pre-ordered this book.Jody Revenson's faux-leather, green-bound book 'The Creature Shop Compendium: Flora and Fauna From the Harry Potter Films' (based off of the movie) is getting a brand new, fully comprehensive and larger-sized release on 10/28/2014; the book is newly bounded with a purple cover (the two will look great next to each other on the shelf!!) .. the new book is titled 'Harry Potter: The Creature Vault: The Creatures and Plants of the Harry Potter Films'. Pure inspiration & a piece of art

Best Christmas present to myself.
I got this during while the Cyber Monday type deals were going on on Amazon. I remember it clearly: Amazon gave a little snippet before the product was actually unveiled, something like "for every true Harry Potter fan." Of course, I sat at my computer and waited until the allotted time to see what it was. And when it was finally released, I jumped on it.I won't lie, I handled each of the books with a hint of reverence; not something I'm proud of admitting, but true all the same. I don't regret buying it at all. Maybe that would be a different story if I had paid the whole $1000, but since I only paid $480 I could justify it to myself. It was totally worth it. The amount of detail is astounding, and I feel like I got a piece of the phenomenon that isn't available for everyone. The Page to Screen book in particular is already pretty in depth, but the added bonus are the others. Each of the other books has a specific focus: the sets, the costuming, etc.Honestly I still haven't gotten all the way through the collection. I'm trying to take my time and enjoy each piece as I get to it. My loved ones are rather annoyed with me; I keep hollering out to them details about the Harry Potter universe. I don't regret the purchase at all, and I would do it again. While my allegiance is more to the books than the movies, I can't deny that I waited for the midnight showing on all of them when they were released in theaters. The amount of work that went into even the smallest of details--a wizarding advertisement during the Quidditch Cup, for example--are shown in these books, and it is magnificent. It's a hefty price tag, but if you want to know as much as you can about the HP world, it's worth it.
