Silicone Rubber Red Jar Scraper Thin Spatula with Rock Maple Handle

I really like the form factor of this spatula. I bought this spatula to use with my Vitamix. The handle is long enough to easily reach down to the bottom between the blade assembly and scoop out of the remainder of a smoothie. The only nits I have are I wish the silicon tip was a bit stiffer and the wooden handle stains easily with fruit juice even if you rinse it right away. But after extensively searching alternatives, I haven't found a better spatula for the job, so I still recommend this one.

A little stiff for a jar scraper but a great length. Ordered one as a gift for my best friend who is a an avid cook as well and she felt the same way.

Long thin spatula (as shown) was exactly what was needed. However, as others stated, the spatula is too soft to be overly effective. Good for use when dealing with thin liquid but nothing as substantial as even a light batter.

Big deal - you have to hand wash. Seriously, how hard is that? Takes 3 seconds. I use it for mixing, folding batters, scraping plates, scraping jars, etc., etc. Years ago I got some Le Cruset thin spatulas with a wood handle and a nice flexible head. They were perfect. Now Le Cruset has plastic handles so it can go into dishwashers and the head is not flexible except for the very tip end. NOT GOOD. These spatulas have a long flexible head and can also be cut down to whatever length head you want.

Sturdy, well made, and gets to the bottom and sides of most containers. Get another serving or two out of the jar.

If you need to get the last bit out of a jar or even a ketchup bottle, this will work very well. The spatula is hard but still pliable to get around inside a container.

I used this with the rubber tovolo trays to smooth down purees when making baby food. WORKS AWESOME! This is what I bought it for, and it does a great job!

This spatula is very thin and flexible and is therefore perfect for carrying out certain tasks. I'm happy with my purchase.
