I bought these candles as a Christmas gift and loved them so I just bought some for myself. A few other ppl loved them as well and wanted to purchase them also. They are very pretty and decoritive both when lit and not lit. I did not smell any scent, however. They smell slightly like vanilla if you put your nose right at the edge of the unlit candle, but that's as far as that goes but I don't really care about that. They come nicely packaged and the price can't be beat. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought these as Holiday gifts for the office. These candles are beautiful! I have not lit them yet (as they are gifts) so I'm not sure how they look in a dark room. I read reviews about the candles having a bad smell, I don't think so. The smell, unlit, is light and clean. I would recommend for a personal buy or for a gift.

As others have pointed out, the scent is more like a faux lavender soap. Very cloying, and I wouldn't have guessed "lavender" if the description didn't say so.Other issue is, understandably an item of this nature is going to have variations from the photos!, but the blue and the orange ones that I received have nearly as much white space as cracked glass. The blue one also has multiple chips and gouges where it looks like glass fell out while it was being made, and a wide white rim around the top.The purple one looks exactly as it should, and is very pretty, but the other two are very disappointing.

Very beautiful and bigger than I thought they would be. Made a really nice gift.

I bought them to give as a gift and it took all I could to not keep them for myself. If I hadn't been so broke I woulda bought them for myself as well. Never got to smell them burning so don't know anything about that. But dang they were pretty. And heavy. Great quality!

These are beautiful candles and am reordering another set. Cannot wait till all the wax has burned away so I can put the small tea lights in them so all of the beautiful glass can be seen.

I ordered this product as a gift, and I was very satisfied with how they looked. But I was not satisfied with how they smelled. They did not smell like natural essential oils, as is said in the description. They smelled synthetic. So I returned them.

Arrived in excellent shape. Beautiful votive holders to keep or give as gifts. May buy more.
