... to make homemade crosses with the name of a loved one or someone who passed and she gives these ...
My mom goes through a lot of toothpicks each month because she uses them to make homemade crosses with the name of a loved one or someone who passed and she gives these away as coping mechanisms. Each cross takes a lot of toothpick's to make and each one is priceless because of her hard work and dedication and they're beautiful. Nonetheless, she was buying boxes of toothpicks from the dollar store each week and they only come in counts of 100 or counts of 500. So she would go through so many and sometimes she'd have to go from store to store just trying to get enough to finish or start whatever cross she was making at that time. It became a long and drawn out thing to do and while being on a fixed income, her hobby was becoming a burden on my dad because of the traveling and gas expenses from driving from store to store each time she was out of her toothpicks at home. When I decided to order these ones for her, it was on a limb but they came quickly and we're much better in quality and overall a better type of toothpick she'd been using previously. I actually ordered two packages of them, with hope's of them lasting her a little while longer then the norm, but it only encouraged her to make more crafts with them because she was overly impressed with these toothpicks in particular. I would recommend them to you and anyone else wither being used to clean your teeth, Make crafts or anything in between. We were very happy with our purchase and I plan to continue to use this seller to male followup and additional purchases to avoid having my dad drive around endlessly and to help save some money. I bought these and If you buy them, I hope you're able to have the same outcome that we were furtunate to have.

Worth the Cost for Ex Smoker
I use toothpicks to stop from smoking and have been smoke free for 3 years. I used to buy the Walmart toothpicks. I would buy 8 800 cartons from them that were about $2 a piece but chewed them up like paper. I wanted to try something bamboo so I got these. At first when they came I was like ouch there is not many and cost was way too high. But did not take me long to realize I could chew eat one a whole lot longer and use a lot less. Since then I have ordered many times. on a bad day I can go through half a Walmart box. The first batch of these lasted me a few months. Now it seems I have gotten used to them being stronger and go through them about once a month.

2,000 Toothpicks Total
The picks themselves are sharp, and far more flexible than their ordinary wooden counterparts. They're about half the diameter of normal toothpicks, and aren't perfectly round.[That may prevent them from working well in some toothpick dispensers, but it also seems to allow them to get in between teeth better.]There seems to be no chemical taste to these (which, apparently, is a concern with some of the competing brands). The present product title seems to imply that two packs of 2,000 are included. However, as the detailed product description states, there are about 2,000 total (or slightly fewer).

Tools not teeth
I use these toothpicks as tools, not for my teeth. I purchased these for the work I do, cleaning out threaded and unthreaded holes in the various phonograph reproducers that I work on. These are stronger than the wooden ones and being smaller in diameter than the normal toothpick they are perfect for my work. I had one job that I was not able to accomplish until these arrived.I am certain they would make great toothpicks as well. There are very few broken or unformed ones, in fact I liked them so well I purchased again just to stock up.

A great toothpick!
Best damn toothpick I've ever used. Sharp, thin, no splinters, no combining apart, lasts as long as I want to keep it in my mouth. A feel good pick. I used toothpick as an aid to quit smoking in 2001 and still use a dozen a day. Very satisfactory product. Who knew bamboo would make the best toothpick. I first used one in a Thai Restaraunt and fell in love with them and on a whim googled them, and there they were. A bit more expensive than the grocery, but still cheap.

Now THIS is a toothpick
I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be writing a review for a toothpick but this is the best darn toothpick I have ever used and I use a lot. I'd dare say this might be the perfect all natural toothpick. Very solid bamboo. Doesn't splinter. Very firm and sharp. Holds the point well. All around the best I've ever used.

A pick above ordinary
They are toothpicks... What could one ask from a toothpick?Strength, point, longevity, taste, along with a blend of flexibility and stiffness. These are not your run of the mill standard "good value" softwood toothpicks. That go soggy after cleaning the front row of your precious teeth. No, they are a rather well packaged, low priced, option with no taste. That have long lasting tooth-picking action.

Now I have the best of both toothpick worlds
Thin enough to get into small spaces but strong enough to stand up to use. The toothpicks are consistent in size. You'll need a dispenser of some sort. Luckily I had dispensers from a previous purchase where the toothpicks were too large so I didn't repurchase. Now I have the best of both toothpick worlds. Great toothpicks and good dispensers.
