Vine Branch Men's L-shaped Trifold Leather Wallet with ID Window

I really, really, really love this design. it's an l-shaped that closes over the top to ensure your money doesn't fall out. And I mean, who wants there money to fall out??? I'm shocked that more aren't made this way, frankly I had a hard time finding exactly this style.I didn't have any issues with the leather being "sticky" or whatever, like some others, but it did have a bit of a chemical smell that quickly dissipated.My only gripe is that I think they could have fit in more card slots inside the wallet. And, on the upper flap, the top card slot is so deep that the card is basically hidden when it's slid down all the way. Not sure why they would have chosen to do that, maybe there's a jumbo credit card that I'm unaware of...But that aside, this is really a great wallet and a superb design!!!

This wallet was a gift to replace my father's old wallet as he was struggling to find a good L-shaped trifold.While he likes the layout, the leather for the wallet is outrageously sticky; he broke a Costco card trying to get it out and cracked a credit card while trying to pay for groceries. I thought he was being dumb, but when I tried to remove cards from the wallet it was surprisingly difficult. Even after removing most of the cards from the wallet (including some that he needed), it is still difficult to remove cards. Maybe I'll throw some baby powder on it and see if that helps. On the bright side, I don't think anything is going to fall out of the wallet.

Replaced my 10 year old wallet. Looks the same. True it is sticky at first but just clean it and wipe it down and then roll and bend it for a while like breaking in leather gloves. Mind the ID plastic. Used a ruler to condition the slit pockets so cards stay it but slide out when needed.Not sure why others have so many issues unless the just filled it up and pocketed it expecting it to break in itself.

This is the only style wallet I truly like. I love the layout. For the price, it can’t be beat. And it has the genuine leather smell. Great wallet!

The design of the wallet is its only strong point.The leather has a very offensive chemical odor that does not dissipate. The 'genuine leather' is extremely thin. I would be concerned it would tear when rubbed against anything rough. I cannot verify this as I am returning the wallet.

The billfold that this one replaced was the same type but by a different manufacturer who no longer made them. I was very happy to find this one and so far it meets my expectations. Only issue so far is that the leather can stick to the top credit card requiring you to slide your finger between the card and the leather to release it. I believe that this issue will go away after time so I can live with it for now. It is also a little smaller then expected. I prefer the way it folds up which prevents anything from falling out by mistake.

I like the design. It is thinner than a trifold. You can access you most used credit cards and show your ID without revealing the entire contents of your wallet. It does need a hole in the clear ID pocket to make it easier to remove your ID when necessary. I bought this as a replacement for one that I have used and enjoyed for years.
