Sumeet Asia kitchen machine 110 volts heavy duty 3 Jars, Heavy Duty Indian Mixer/Grinder, Safety Lock System, 110 Volt, 550 Watts, Approx 18 lbs. The New Asia Kitchen Machine with redesigned Asia Grinder & Stainless Steel Jars. The ASIA GRINDER Jar now has a "Double Wall Stainless Steel" construction (replacing the Plastic housing & side clips), a redesigned integrated blade and lids with a more user friendly snap-in locking system. The Multipurpose Asia Grinder Jar was created specifically to tackle the tough DRY & WET grinding tasks required in the diverse cuisines of India. Yet it is equally at home where grinding is vital to the cuisines from other parts of the world, (Mexican Moles, Thai Green Curry, Harissa, etc). The Asia Grinder effectively grinds Dry Or Wet ingredients into fine powder or a smooth thick paste, from as little as 50 grams to as much as 400 Grams in less than 2 minutes. Soaked Lentils, Rice, Coconuts, Chilies, Herbs, Ginger, Garlic to name a few, can be ground without adding a drop of water. A feat only possible using Stone & Pestle. The 1.25 liter Stainless Steel jar incorporates a new handle assembly with a user friendly locking system similar to the Asia grinder. It comes with 4 Interchangeable blades for various tasks such as Blending, Whipping, Mincing, Grating etc. The Small Quantity Grinder Jar is ideal for small amounts of dry and wet grinding, be it fresh coffee powder or a quick chutney.

Don't buy from this seller
Please don't buy this from this seller, they sent us defective pieces and they broke off just within 2-3 uses. All the jars are useless now and we are tweaking it using a spoon. Useless materials are being sold, i don't blame amazon, but the seller is now rejecting to return my money back or is not ready to replace the Jars.

The worst experience - they are cheaters
I wish there had been a 0 or negative rating, but there is none. So I am forced to give a 1 star. What a waste of a star.My mother and her mother owned a Summeet. My husband gifted me a Summeet 3 years back. Within months the black jar holders gave up on both the jars. Then the springs on the other side of the jar gave up. After following up for 7 months with the dealer in Cananda(Mihir), I finally got 1 replacement part instead of the two which I complained about. The mixer worked well, so I let go on further complaining. It was getting too time consuming trying to get hold of those dealers and I gave up a losing battle of getting the 2nd replacement. Now, after 3 years, the motor burned. The warranty said 5 years on parts and labor. I called the Canada office again. He(Mihir) asked me to run a few tests to see if something else was an issue. He finally said that the motor seems to have failed. He asked me to send the mixer and all the 3 jars along, so that he could change the motor and check if the bearings of the jar are good and that he will fix them too if needed, to avoid the motor from burning again. I was impressed by his courtesy and the extra mile that he offered.I spent $41 on shipping(via USPS) the mixer to his office. After a week, I called to confirm if he received it. He told me, the post office has left a message regarding a package which he believes is mine and that he will pick it up the next day. I called up again after another week. No response. I called up again after 15 days. No response. Finally I shot him an email from their website sumeet.net and also a voice message asking when he will ship it back as I had to arrange for the mixer to be picked up while I was away at work. Finally he called and told me he has the mixer, and that he was in India and would be back on the 29th of June with more parts and will immediately ship it to me.As he had promised, the mixer did come back on the 2nd of July. I was impressed and happy. My happiness lasted only for 1 whole minute - till I realized that my mixer was sitting at the Canadian post office for almost a month UNCLAIMED and is being RETURNED TO SENDER as NO ONE had even picked it up from the post office.WHAT A BIG LIE THE DEALER(MIHIR) HAD TOLD ME WHEN HE TOLD ME HE WAS PICKING IT UP THE NEXT DAY, THAT HE WAS GETTING PARTS TO REPAIR IT AND WILL SEND IT BACK TO ME.NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS DEALER IN TORONTO. HIS WEBSITE IS SUMEET.NET. THEIR NAMES ARE MIHIR AND ARTI.MY EFFORT TO PACK AND $41 WAS LOST IN THE PROCESS. I HAVE ALSO SEND FILED A COMPLAIN WITH THE CANADIAN BBB where their business already has a 'F' rating. Please beware, don't get emotionally lured to possess a Sumeet in the United States, just because your mother owned one.

You'll only ever need this machine.
My mother had a sumeet, as did her mother. The blenders have done my family good for many years, and all the sumeets in my family are still currently in use, all these years later. I just bought my first one in Jackson Heights (in Queens, NY) for $150. Best money I've ever spent. The Asia Grinding Jar reduced my cocoanut to a fine powder that was like the freshly fallen snow. The Spice Grinder Jar took my toasted coriander seeds to an ultra fine powder. The tall, traditional jar made quick work of a whole lot of ice, and brought forth a cool, slushy beverage. It's worth ever penny.UPDATE: The grinder died on me in 3 months. I sent it in to get repaired. Don't do this. I haven't heard from them since.

Buyer Beware? Buyer run away fast!
As I read the other reviews I wish I had seen them earlier. This machine if you can call it that is a waste of time and money. It is poorly engineered, flimsy, ill equipped, piece of trash that belongs on a garbage heap and no where else. Whoever is producing, selling, and marketing these, as working food processors, should be arrested for fraud. The first time I used this piece of deitrus it broke in 3 differnt places. Even the plastic motor cover cracked. The rubber bushings fell off, the tops are attached to the bowls in such a ridiculous way it appears they are made to fail not after some period of use but immediately. There are two mini screws holding the whole handle assembly on each bowl by a flimsy plastic piece that is the poorest piece of planning I have ever seen. Good god I wish I could ask the people responsible for this machine what they were thinking! Asia kitchen machine????Asia worthless crap is more like it. Dont think your experince will be different. It wont. The weasel in Canada isnt going to help you, and India is way too far away.If Sumeet cared at all they wouldnt be torturing us with this sabotaged export of a cruel joke on cooks. I only hope the manufacturer stops sending this junk to the unsuspecting world. They look like the work dont they? I am a fool for buying this thing and that probably bothers me more than anything. I fell for it. Hope you are getting a good chuckle at Sumeet.Well I am thinking how I can get rid of this in grand style. I could use it for target practice. Throw it off a building. Safely of course. I could duct tape it together fill the grinder with rocks and gasoline and plug it in via a long extension cord or I can just discard it like the rest of the junk in the dumpster at work. Dumpster.
