Read this book several times. Encouraging words for moms to read. A collection of short devotions to remind us that with God we have all we need to face each day.

Good if you like short chapters/devotional style encouragement. Great short chapters for busy moms. I prefer a longer story like book-length vignette which is why I prefer the full length books by some of the authors of this title versus the short, blog article like chapters of this book. This is why I give it a 4/5 stars. Due to the style of the book, not the content or authors.

Each chapter, easily read in 10-15 min (doable for young moms), is written by well-known and trusted Christian women who support their practical topics with scripture. It's not just personal wisdom but more profoundly wisdom from God. I read it and then gave it to my daughter who just had a baby. She is finding it helpful and encouraging.

Wonderful book. Short and sweet. This has several Christian authors who have compiled writings from their blogs. Moms are busy so these short chapters offer quick encouragement that point them and their children to Christ. As sinners we fail every day at being that "perfect mom" but Christ will always be perfectly enough for our children. This book reminds us to look to eternity and the faith we must have in Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins, in order to be with him after death.

This book is GREAT. I am a mom with 4 young kids who needed this very gospel-centered reminder that no, you're not enough! But God is, so wave the white flag (mom), trust Him, lean on Him, be aware that the spiritual battle is the most important one for their hearts, give your kids to Him who loves them even more than we do.... We are reading this with a MOMS (Ministry of Motherhood) group at my church and thru discussion of the book, I realize how much we ALL needed this book. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Page after page of CONVICTION!

I found this to be a fairly easy read; the short chapters made it easy to finish in between helping my littles. I was a little disappointed by the “Mom Wars” chapters... but otherwise, I was really encouraged and convicted throughout this book!Would definitely recommend!

This book has been incredibly convicting and challenging. The authors have touched on some of biggest struggles in life as a new mom with Biblical clarity. I did it with a small group of women in my neighborhood and it was a great springboard for discussion and such an easy read we were all able to keep up.

As a new mum I often feel worried about my child, am I doing it right, am I being useful for the kingdom or I am tempted to compare and judge other mummy styles. This book addresses all this and more, each chapter left me greatly encouraged and reminded me to rely on Christ's strength.Also I don't think any chapter is longer than 5 mins, so is great when you're so tired and have little time to yourself that you can't deal with anything too long or heavy.

This is a fantastic collection of blog posts, all packed full of challenges, encouragement and gospel truth.I'm sure I'll keep dipping in and out of this book to glean more because there's so much to take in and think about.All the articles were good, but, I have to say, I particularly enjoyed Rachel Jancovic's.

Wonderful, inspiring, encouraging guidance from godly writers for women in the trenches of motherhood. The chapters are short, succinct (based on blog posts) & are hugely thought provoking. This book echoes the prayers & thoughts of the heart of many mothers trying to raise kids in a way which honours Jesus.

Excellent read, would recommend to every mum.

Short easy to read chapters. Full of really helpful Biblical based advice.Was SO encouraged and challenged by this book. If you are mum you need to read this book!
