Perfect for the fixture
I wanted this LED bulb for a bathroom fixture to replace halogen bulbs. The low profile was a great selling point. Bulbs work great and can dim to dark, many bulbs don't.

Great replacement for a pendant light
After a few years, the halogen bulb in my pendant fixture fried the base (literally). Replaced the failed base and then replaced the halogen bulb in all fixtures with LED to prevent this. This LED configuration provides the needed downwards light unlike other LED arrangements that are great providing light to the side but not so great downwards. Just make sure you have room in your fixture for the large-diameter bulb.

It fit in a tight bathroom fixture
I purchased this particular G9 LED bulb because my bathroom light fixture would not accommodate any of the longer LED G9 replacement bulbs. It is much wider than I expected (mushroom shape), but that was okay because the shorter length was needed to fit in my light fixture. The socket of the fixture is on an angle so none of the other G9's would have fit. As it is, with this G9, the bulb is resting against the glass and you can see it although the glass is frosted. This LED bulb is very cool compared to the halogen bulb that it replaced, which was VERY hot and a hazard. The halogen bulbs burned out after 2 years & I'm hoping for a longer life for the LED G9. I purchased warm white, and the brightness seems good but I would say it is more like a cool white, but not the blue white of some LEDs. So far I'm satisfied with this bulb and will buy again.

Low profile compared to most G9 LED style lights
I Have these installed over the vanity in my bathroom. No problems so far. Very bright and true to color. Lower watt usage and much cooler than the halogen lights I replaced. Have not installed a dimmer yet so I can't speak on that function.

Bright warm light - wonderful!
Dims beautifully and no buzzing noise. Beautiful warm glow. Love the low profile design that doesn't stick way up.

Perfect replacement for halogen in pendant lights
I tried with only limited success to find a bright-enough warm G9 LED to work in our pendants over our kitchen island. The pendants came rated with maximum 40 W halogen, and 40 W just wasn't nearly bright enough (in addition to being hot and energy inefficient). These are the perfect solution! Much more light than the 40 W or the G9 LEDs that I'd tried previously. Big added bonus: these bulbs do not extend downward as far as most other G9 LEDs that are finger-shaped, so you do not see the bulb when you're sitting at the island. One of the two bulbs I ordered flickered slightly at certain power levels. This problem went away when I swapped our incandescent dimmer switch for a Lutron switch made for LEDs and CFLs.

Their unusual shape might give you the opportunity for more light.
G9's normally get longer as they increase in watts. I was out of space in my fixture, but these bulbs fit perfectly.
