This is NOT chalk paint it’s Matt acrylic so it’s very misleading. You pay attention to the bigger word you want to see and miss what’s it plain sight. I’m unable to return it without paying a shipping fee ((my bad I guess I did not catch that part)) if I wanted acrylic I could have gone to another store bought Apple barrel for $.50 cent. Buyer beware.

I love this paint and adore this color such an awesome shade of green. And the picture I used the 2 oz bottle to complete. Very worth the money. Very easy to paint with I'll definitely be using this in projects in the future

I've used Folk Art paint products for many years now and needed to antique a small project with the dark wax. I started with a raw wood breadbox and applied a high end chalk paint I tinted to the color I needed. After that was dry, I used one coat of clear Folk Art wax and let that dry. The last step was theis Folk Art dark wax, I simply wiped it on with a clean cloth and immediately wiped the excess off to get this finish.I like how the dark wax highlights the random texture of the chalk paint finish and effectively ages the buttercream color to a warmer, rustic look. (I think it coordinates very well with the punched tin on the door!) The process with the dark wax product is simple and applies smoothly. I've used Plaid Antiquing Medium before to achieve such results on primitive style canvas paintings and it works flawlessly to achieve that look as well. I feel that the Wax works so well for furniture or wood pieces it's a must for anyone wanting a vintage finish.

I liked that it came in a small jar for a small project. This is the craft of modpodging napkins onto pots.

The color is completely different than the photo. Not even close to the same shade..

I have a wooden painted shower curtain rod because I didn't want anything metal. But the shower curtain rings don't do well on painted wood. This wax was so easy to work with and dried to a great finish. The rings slide on the rod easily and the paint isn't being worn off of the rod. I definitely will use this on other projects as well.

So fool proof. Used this in some plastic tables and it worked great. Just applied 3 thin coats A little goes a long way. I did 2 end tables with just one small bottle.

I only needed a small amount for the project I was working on. Color was a rich dark brown. Very pretty.

bought as an accent colour for a bedside table I was repainting. Turned out beautiful. I used a based layer of white chalk paint first, and then this on top. Washed out of the brush with just some soapy water. brilliant!

I painted one layer so far and I find it way more blue than I wanted. I will have to mix the second layer with some sort of pine color for it to look true sage.

Worked well to paint a dollhouse. Nice and thick and matte.
