Is the oscillate feature needed or is it a bell or whistle? or is it good for the occasional extreme ordeal?

Do you have to connect this bidet to a hot water supply or is it done by electricity?

Dear customer, Our SmartBidet has a hot water tank reservoir that keeps the water ready to be used. You need to connect the bidet to a cold water supply. This bidet also requires an electrical outlet and you need to keep it plugged in at all times for the water to be kept heated.Please let us know if you have more questions!Thank you

The nitty gritty.. can i throw away the tp? or is it needed for the extreme ordeals?

You might want to leave the tp for guests or to blow your nose but don't need it for anything else. This is my second bidet and they are wonderful put the first one in after I had an accident (broken ribs and shoulder) it was a lifesaver and marriage saver. Have put second one in my shop and will never go back to tp.

I need the t valve nut that connects the small hose.can i buy that?

Yes u can buy that at most major home improvement/hardware stores. I had to replace the one that came with unit as well since it leaked on install. Teflon tape didnt fix. The t-valve i purchased at homedepot for $5.99 was definitely higher quality and solved my leaking issue.
