The new Browning picture and video viewer was designed for the hunter with multiple cameras in the field to make the surveillance easier. The viewer features a 7" HD viewing screen and a built-in rechargeable battery to create an affordable way to view your images and videos in the field without the need for a laptop computer. The viewer allows you to view images or videos right in the field, as well as copy SD cards from multiple cameras directly to a dedicated SD card slot. (SD cards not included)

Not ready for applied use
I'm not one to write negative reviews, especially about Browning products because I absolutely love their Strike Force HD trail cameras. I'm running 25+ cameras on a large ranch and about half are Browning Cameras. They are that good. That being said, I was sure to love the Camera Viewer, or so I thought. To begin, like other comments, I was surprised to find that the zoom was seriously limited. In fact, I bought it thinking as a Browning product these earlier comments must be incorrect. It has a zoom drag functionality, but it starts from the center point of the picture. So, if you have a potential shooter buck on the edge of a pic, and don't recognize the buck, if you zoom in to take a look at the show up, you will effectively zoom the buck out of the landsape. LIke others, this is enough of a reason to return the product but not give it 1 star (as I did). The very first time I took it to the field, with a full battery charge, I began to get an "error message" and it said that the unit must shut down. This didn't happen once, but many many times, as I tried to review trail cam pics from multiple cameras. I think this corrupt software also had something to do with battery life, as my brand new, fully charged unit was battery dead in less than 45 minutes of trying to get through pictures.Another, independent system problem I had was when I first tried to delete pics from a SD card. In theory, the dual SD cards, moving favorites from one SD card to another so I could reuse in the field, was very appealing. In practice, when I selected "all" to be deleted, they did delete from the SD card but when I put a new SD card into the same slot (SD slot 2), all the OLD pics were there and then the "new" SD pics. If you have thousands of pics per card, this isn't acceptable. At this point, I knew I was returning this product ... but for those of you who want a viewer to assess close to "real time" photos, I have one more critical observation.I have no idea why, but when I look at photos using the Browning viewer, it isn't showing the the time and date stamps that I KNOW are on the actual photos. Drop the SD cards into my laptop, or use a connector to view the SD cards to my small iphone screen, the dates and times are clear. If you hunt the pre- and rut-stages like we do, we use those time and date stamps. When I have a camera card with 2,000+ images, in about day 4-5 I forget what the date was exactly when that specific shooter showed up using the Browning viewer ... which, again, does not help me when I'm in the field. And I bought this thinking it was the answer to my need for assessing deer pics in the field.

A little pricey but worth it!!
I bought the wild game innovations tablet because I liked the idea of being able to transfer from card to card (reader holds 2 sd cards) it lasted about 20 minutes before it wouldn't recognize the second card. I bought the browning as a replacement and never looked back. I went to best buy and had a gorilla glass screen protector put on as a precautionary but I'm not sure if its needed. Everyone who has used it in my hunt club has had great things to say about it. Its pricey but so far it looks like you get what you pay for!!
