Bowknot Shell Pearl Sterling Silver Leverback Earrings

As others have reported, these are NOT Tahitian Black Peacock Pearl Earrings. They are not even fake pearls - they are magnetic hematite beads. In all honesty, they are cute earrings (especially for the price), although they are not as dainty looking as the ones in the picture. Unfortunately, I purchased them to give as a gift with a simple black pearl necklace, but I cannot give them as it is so obvious that they are magnets; they cling together. I guess I will just keep them and order some REAL pearl earrings to gift. I don't really mind that these aren't real pearls so much as I mind that I was totally mislead.

It took about 3 weeks to arrive but that was Expected. What was supposed to be Tahitian Black Pearl actually is a black magnet. The two earrings are attacke attracted to each other and pull together like magnets do when you put them next to each other (seecpicture). I guess if you're paying $3 for pearls I kind of expected this. I'm actually just glad that they are not made of plastic! They are silver. Not latch back, but pull through

I bought these specifically because they were advertised as leverback, however there wasn't a clear picture so i trusted the description. When they arrived I saw that that there were thick hook earrings. The post is so thick you can't use a backer to ensure they don't wiggle out of your earlobes. Also noteworthy, they are MAGNETIC so not a pearl at all.

These earrings are just gorgeous......but they seem to be magnetized. Kind of weird but probably okay as long as I don't get near any magnetized equipment while wearing them. Not sure how to DEmagnetize them. But they are, when all is said and done, quite beautiful!

Negative. I didn't expect real pearls for the price but I got magnetic pearl- shaped ball earrings. Now to be fair,they are kind of pretty. A bit heavy so not an everyday earring for me. Definitely not pearls or glass,though. They cling together like magnets. Weird stuff.

These are not pearl or leverbacks. They are the heavy magnet material with hook backs. Completely misrepresented.

Should have read reviews because I only wear leverback and these are NOT. Why does Amazon let these be falsely advertised? Very disappointed.

Look nice, but the black balls are magnetic. Didn't expect that from the description!
