A must read for any fantasy reader, I was absorbed in these books and Brent kept me reading for hours

Book shipped without any packaging material. Dust jacket showed minor wear damage around edges on front and back Overall quality of the binding felt low - weak/loose, too low for an $80 book. Returned.

This is quite the page turner. Great plot twists and the characters (while heroes) have faults! Very good book. This is actually my 2nd time reading it. I could not remember where I had read about the Maw (trust me, this is crazy), when I came across the "Lightbringer" series. I enjoyed that series so much that I looked for other books the author had written. I found this book and ordered it. THIS WAS THE SERIES WITH THE MAW! I found I had read it many years before and found it by accident (or very good luck)! I will most certainly by more books by this author!

I was waiting for this hard cover for what it felt like an eternity. I preordered it as soon as I realized I could. I was even more exited about it after I watched Brent unbox his own book. I was very disappointed when I open my package and found the jacket (which is otherwise BEAUTIFUL) all scratched and full of marks (unfortunately I did not take a picture to post, it was painful) . Returned it and waiting for the replacement. A little better packaging would help... Anyway, the book is still AWESOME and I cannot wait to read it for a 6th time!!! Brent Weeks is an amazing story teller, world builder, and character creator.

I have reread this trilogy more times then I can remember and I have the audio books as well. Brent Weeks has an interesting take on magic in any of his books that makes his worlds stand out form other series. I would highly recommend this series and The Lightbringer series to any fantasy reader. Brent Weeks has become one of my favorite authors of all time with his writing and I would recommend any of his works.

I love brent weeks. If you love fantasy, crazy adventures really intricate character development, honestly any one who isn’t a fantasy lover would be obsessed with this / brent weeks in general. Honestly. His books have been so intriguing and pull you in so fast I bet you a million dolls even someone with no interest in fantasy would read the entire collection in less than a week (;

One of if not my favorite trilogy can't recommend enough.

I'm absolutely thrilled to get to read through this trilogy for the umpteenth time. This version has to be my absolute favorite by far, too. It feels much more special compared to the previous omnibus, and for good reason. Already waiting to receive the signed version of this to keep in mint condition, as this will be the copy that gets put through the wringer as I read through the series another twenty times haha.

I was really excited to get this book as i am a massive fan of Brent Weeks and his writing. Unfortuanately both the front and back of the book have several scrapes. This normally wouldnt be an issue but on an all black cover, stick out like a sore thumb. The tops of the cover also seem to have folded inwards at parts. The inside of the book is perfect though and i do look forward to reading this trilogy again but just wished the cover didnt have those issues

I’ve read all this authors books it’s that good I’m buying this trilogy special again to introduce it to someone who reads fantasy fiction as much as I and think she will love BW ..

This trilogy is by far my favourite series. I highly recommend it to any fantasy readers out there. Great story, great characters, an amazing debut by Brent Weeks. Also check out his Lightbringer Series!
