I like this brand, have used it before. I am very pleased with the produce and the prompt delivery.

I LOVE the fact I don’t have to worry about making sure the bobbins are tight enough. Plus I can just put another one in and resume sewing in a split second

When I first put in a new bobbin, it works great but after a few designs, it begins skipping (bobbin not catching top thread). I have tried putting in a cardboard magnetic side in the bobbin holder ... sometimes it works for a little while but goes back to skipping. When I go back to my Madeira white magnetic bobbins, my machine buzzes along without a problem ... I don't know if it is the width of the plastic bobbin is not correct but it feels more like the thread tension when winding the bobbin is not consistent. Since I have experienced the same problem with about 10 bobbins, I can only assume they all will have the same problem. At this point, I can not recomment them.

I bought this with the expectation that I would be able to use these bobbins for the backing side of my quilts so that I could avoid having to prepare a dozen bobbins each time, but the texture of the thread is such that I will not use it on my quilts. The texture is not suitable for quilts that are actually going to be used as quilts (rather than hang on a wall or something). It has a harsh feel to it, and it kinks and curls coming off the bobbin while sewing; it does not sit nicely when sewing (e.g. while piecing patchwork, for instance); instead, it kind of kinks and coils and bounces back in an annoying fashion. It does not feel good enough to use on my quilts. I guess I was expecting a smoother, better, softer texture. This feels just short of fishing line instead of good quality thread. It's "okay" I guess, if you're not using it for anything that will touch anyone's skin (such as clothes, quilts, pillow covers, etc.) and it's probably good for sewing things like curtains perhaps, but I am disappointed that I cannot use it on my quilts so I have a heck of a lot of bobbin thread to get rid of. :(
