WiFi calling not available with Consumer Cellular
I purchased this card because I had an account with Consumer Cellular and had to replace a stolen phone. When I was unable to set up wifi calling on my phone, I called for assistance. I was told that the card I purchase was tied to ATT cell towers and wouldn't support wifi calling with Consumer Cellular. I think this should have been made clear when I purchased the card. None of the reviews reported this problem. I received a $10 credit from consumer cellular for the card I had purchased since they give one for free.Addendum: After being told that I couldn't use wifi calling, my phone kept asking me to sign up. For 2 weeks I wasn't able to do that and I called consumer cellular. The phone kept asking me and I tried and seemed to make progress, only to be stopped again. After the 5th time of filling out the form, it finally came through as ATT wifi calling and my phone was enabled. I would change my rating of this card to 4 stars.

Charged for something that is free
The thing that bothers me is being charged for something that's free you sell it.

Was sent correct sim card for connecting to AT&T
I am very happy with my purchase through this seller! Although Consumer Cellular gives a sim card for free if you go to their website, it is always for T-mobile which is awful for where I live in Eastern CT and the Rhode Island area. You have to call and talk to them to get a sim card that will connect to AT&T. I avoided that by buying this sim card from this seller and everything is good for me!

Don’t purchase, won’t activate
Consumer Cellular will not activate. They said they will not activate any chip that is purchased through Amazon. They will only activate chips purchased at Target or through them.

What happened to Consumer Cellular ???????
I'll tell you. They got too big !!!Their service used to be great but now you can't reach them.Their Chat & Phone service is unreachable - it's takes forever in their queues.They removed their email service so now you can't email them.They can email you but you can't email them.They can bill, email, or contact you but you can't contact them.And there is no place on their web site where you can rate their service.Like most companies today everything is one way contact only.

Consumer Cellular = terrible
Consumer Cellular = terrible. Run away. Just don't do it. Their customer service is the worst: 20 minute hold times to get customer service reps that can't or won't help you resolve any issues. Their coverage is terrible. Their data is artificially throttled on AT&T's network - you can put an AT&T phone beside a Consumer Cellular phone and the AT&T phone will be 10x faster. When you try to port out to a different carrier, they will hold your phone hostage. Run away from Consumer Cellular.
