Hard plastic that just looks cheap. Prefer my wooden version despite this being a replacement. Very difficult to put together. Instructions were little complicated with very small diagram.Design is fairly OK but not really diggin it!Not worth the money. Don't buy.Going to redecorate so this won't last

This toilet seat has been on our toilet for just over two weeks and it’s broke already! We checked all the measurements were correct before we purchased the product so it should have been fine. It’s of very poor quality plastic and the fasteners do not stay tight even with the use of the supplied tool! We thought this would be a fun addition to our bathroom but instead it was a waste of money! Very disappointing. I wouldn’t even give it one star but it wouldn’t allow the review to submit without it!

This should have been a simple fit but far from it! 3 hours it took me and yet now I've mastered it I reckon less than 30 mins to fit another.The instructions were mainly in German and not straightforward.Thankfully someone in the reviews posted a step by step instruction which helped massively.One of the big issues was the plastic sleeve that goes through the holes in toilet were bigger than the holes.No amount of tapping helped but eventually I hit the metal bolt thing onto the plastic sleeve with a hammer and that forced it into the hole. Nowhere was it mentioned you might have to do that. Then it was a case of working out which order the pieces slid on the metal screw underneath then tightening it up.All said and done once it was fitted it seems pretty solid and good quality.

We live in a rented property and purchased this to replace the previous toilet seat which was flimsy, unpleasant, old and tatty.To be fair it's only been installed for 24 hours but so far this seat fits the toilet better than the other one - you don't feel as though you might accidentally spill over onto the rim of the loo. It was very easy to install, took less than 10 minutes. You don't need any tools, everything you need is included, and I felt that the instructions were sufficiently clear.My 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son find the design extremely amusing (personally it wasn't my first choice), and the room feels slightly less oppressive now.I would recommend this seat.

Looks great if you are not a perfectionist and look to close at the edges of the images. My daughter loves it as it has got a Unicorn and it also Pukes and Poos Rainbows!!! But it has helped in all matters involving number 1's and 2'sSoft close!!! I may not have installed it properly, but until I try again, it only soft closes the seat and not the cover. It could be me, but I cannot seem to get it to work very well, it will not soft close with seat and the cover at the same time!!Over all as an incentive for a young child to use the tiolet, it works well :-)It is colourfulMy child loves it

4 Stars, as this product looks beautiful and feels high quality. The design looks great in my mainly white and pale blue bathroom.I have given it 4 stars, instead of 5, because I thought that the fittings seemed overly complicated to put together and it does not appear to be "soft close", as advertised. One of the hinges internal parts was fitted in the wrong direction, so I had to unscrew the internal hinge to make it fit into the slot to make the hinge work. Maybe doing this altered the "soft close" action, I don't know.

Very impressed with this toilet seat. I love the beach scene on it and it's very sturdy, and made of strong plastic not MDF which Idont like. It adjusts to the toilet well and it doesn't wobble when you sit on it. Its the first time I've had a soft close lid/seat and it's great. I'm going to order another one with a different design for the downstairs toilet.
