Great disc so easy to use

My pc got itself stuck in an autorepair-reboot loop and nothing worked to get it to stop. My Win10 pc was originally a Win7 pc which updated to Win10 for free which meant my recovery disk was Win7 not 10 and doesnt work (what a great way to find out Microsoft).This purchase saved the day first attempt.

I was expecting to just install and get prompts on screen for further instructions however it just kept coming up with what looked like software jargon so I returned it and got local computer repair shop to fix my computer issues.

My laptop was stuck in auto repair mode following an update to edge browser which messed up the laptop systems. I thought this disc was meant to take over the laptop system and would take the laptop out of that loop, but sadly it didn't work.

Did the job for me - saved my laptop, and saved me a lot of money as the computer shop quoted me much more to fix it. I did lose all my files (I was expecting to anyway) but it was worth it. My only critique is the instructions could be a bit clearer.

I am still waiting for this to arrive. It is urgent that I get this item ASAP

My laptop wouldn’t boot after a freeze frame and I turned it off. Clearly something corrupted..I’m not technical but am logical and researched on the iPad for likely causes I tried all the onboard self repair options without success. Decided, after reading the reviews to take a final chance to self fix this buy buying this recovery disc. A low cost punt….Found it tricky to follow the excellent accompanying instructions A4s as not conversant with any of the terminology etc. BUT after several tries I did then follow each instruction very carefully and fully, remembering to delete files where indicated and bingo…it’s up and running as before. It takes time to reset everything and recommend not to turn it off if it appears to be inactive..it isn’t..It’s too late to keep any work files or personal pics etc when reinstalling and the learning point is to regularly , say weekly, backup everything you value to an external hard disc or to Microsoft cloud system. I bought a external drive now as belts and braces approach.Thanks guys for this product..the alternative was to either ditch the laptop or take for specialist, and doubt expensive repair.

My laptop needed a Windows 10 recovery as I had removed a part of the operating system in error. The disc loaded and ran so far, but then stopped because "a driver was missing, please load the driver from usb or disc". I had hoped that using the recovery disc, would replace any missing drivers (if I had them I wouldn't need a recovery disc), but that was as far as I got. So it didn't solve my issue.
