I was able to finally get this lock installed. It works as advertised, but there are a few issues.1. The USB port is located on top. If you put this lock outside, you'll have to seal it.2. The front and back plates are held together by three screws and squeeze the two plates together in order to hold the lock to the door. This uses friction to keep the entire lock from rotating, which it does if you turn the handle too hard. This was disappointing.3. If you tighten the three screws too tightly in an attempt to keep the lock from rotating, the flimsy black plates bend. Easily. I had to assemble and reassemble the lock multiple times in order to straighten them out. These plates need to be made out of a stronger metal, as they bend pretty easily if you pull too hard on the handle. In fact, it wouldn't be too difficult to rip the entire lock right off the door with one good tug. Keep this in mind if you need real security.4. The instructions, while written using English words, make little sense. So it takes a little time to decipher what they're trying to say. Typical Chinese instructions.5. The magnetic cover for the key cylinder is so thin and sticks so well that it is nearly impossible to get it off in order to use the key. I tried numerous tools and all I accomplished was scratching the heck out of it.Now for the good.1. Setup was a breeze. Voice prompts we're helpful except when you do something wrong. Then it tells you something that, like the instructions, makes no sense.2. Setting up the camera was super easy. I have four other WiFi cameras and this was by far the easiest. The app is just ok, but has some interesting features. The camera is pretty cheap, but works fairly well, surprisingly.3. Using the app to connect the lock to my WiFi network was also easy. Unlocking using the app works fine. It doesn't actually unlock the door, but lights up two numbers on the keypad that act like a temporary code.After finally setting this up, it works fine, but there are a lot of things to be aware of.Edit: After a day of rain, the lock got a little wet and started cycling on and off. The fingerprint scanner had to be wiped completely dry in order to work. This is a major drawback. Probably going to return both locks I bought.

Not as easy to install....takes more time and dedication....have not tried camera.

Difficult to install. The screws were too short that I had to visit my local hardware store to get new set of screws about 1/4" longer.Camera has limited wifi capabilities not mentioned on the website. Romote unlocks would not work for me because its connected to the camera.

Work for one day then no power to front panel also auxiliary power plug-in does not work. Tried reset doesn’t function. Changed batteries no help. Screws to attach back panel to front panel through door are too short for steel entry door in US. You will need 35 to 40 mm Panhead screws to attach. Rubber gasket behind both front and back panel mis-molded not an easy fit up. Embedding your pin number of six digits inside a longer string of characters does work was impressed with that. Never got to the app to see if we could sync to Wi-Fi.

Hard to set up, finger prints never registered correctly

Easy to install on the us lock hold, work fine for my Airbnb house, love it.

Surprise price, I like it.
