Compared to Flat, Hinged, Keyboard Pedal
I had thought I wanted a foot pedal that was more like the pedal on my traditional piano. The pedal that came with my Yamaha Portable Grand was a small, flat, hinged near-square that worked fine, except an adjustable hinge screw would frequently fall out and need to be screwed back in. With this new pedal, I no longer need to worry about a screw falling out; however, despite its rubber feet the pedal slides around more on my hardwood floor. I will try putting a thin mat under it to prevent the sliding. Otherwise, it feels like a traditional piano sustain pedal, and It seems to be sturdy and well made.

Works great!
It works great! I just had to plug it into my electric keyboard and turn it on and it works great. I am just learning how to play piano and I was told not having a sustain pedal makes the sound of what you try to play sound bad. They were right! Everything I try to play now sounds so much better. It was worth the investment for the pedal.

GOOD FOR THE PRICE
This pedal works well. My only criticism is that I wish it was a little heavier because it tends to slip around on the floor.

Updated Review - Poor Body Construction
The media could not be loaded. I have used M-Audio pedals and replace them about every 6-9 months with roughly 20 hours of use per week. I figured I would give another company a shot - and this one hasn’t let me down. I can’t speak to longevity at this point, but the unit has performed well on 2 Yamaha Motif Keyboards, one Alesis, one Kurzweil, and 2 Korgs. The only challenge I have had is the unit weight is not much so the unit slides. If you have it down between the two legs of a keyboard stand the switch on the side that changes the directional function can be accidentally tripped.UPDATE - 8/19/19 - I have found that these pedals are great right out the gate, but with regular use over a period of a couple months, the base construction is not designed with enough tensile strength to combat the incredibly powerful spring that is in the pedal itself. As you can see in the pictures I have attached, the unit has broken at the base which makes it unusable - while the guts still work, the frame is literally destroyed. I guess I am back on the search for a reliable pedal with proper universal construction in the days ahead. The pictures and videos say it all so no need for further explanation.

Nice Pedal
Great price and seems well built. It has polarity switch which is important so it's universal. Works on Yamaha MX49.I'll probably never wear it out since I'm a guitar player. It's just for sequencing and recording.

Happy the replacement pedal came quickly and works well.
The sustain pedal that came with my keyboard stopped working and I needed a replacement.

Slips around
The sustain is too short for me and the pedal slips around all the time. I have to put a mouse pad underneath it to keep in place while playing.
