Good enough, some loss of sharpness, but OK lens for the price.
Add-on converters like this are not nearly as good as a dedicated wide angle lens, but it helps get the extra bit into the picture without breaking the budget. There is a distinct loss of sharpness compared to the same shot without the adapter, but it was not a big enough problem. And ... to cope with the warped sides, there is the GIMP (free graphics software) and it's wonderful lens distortion fixing filters.ADDING - To deal with the vignetting (the dark corners) either zoom in a bit or crop the picture. Then use photo editing software to correct the warping.I got time to try it as a macro lens - It's not as good as the macro lens I had for my film cameras, but it's not nearly as expensive either. It does get you enough closer to make a difference if you like taking pictures of tiny things.

Much cheaper than an entire lens with great results!
Wide angle and macro both work well. When zoomed all the way out, I do tend to see a black ring around the picture. To avoid that, I just barely zoom in a bit. I knocked off a star for the black ring issue and due to that sometimes the threads don't want to cooperate when screwing it all together. All in all, this is a great budget wide angle/macro attachment.

Its fun to play with. But not for professional use.
It's very hard to get a sharp focus. The pictures I did get was pretty cool. But it took a lot of trial in order to get very few useable images. Majority of the images had a very soft glow to it. And I couldnt get the wide angle to focus while on my lens. I had to pull it away from the lenses about a half inch, which made it difficult to get anything fully in focus. It's fun to play around with and get creative images. And maybe I'll figure out a system to get better focusing. but I would suggest not getting this with the intent of using as professional use as the quality just isnt there.

Wish it had come with better instructions, though
A little tough to thread properly, and it doesn't make a huge difference, but for a casual photographer just looking to experiment, you can't beat the price! Wish it had come with better instructions, though.

Just okay
Can’t beat the price, but the photo quality isn’t the greatest. It’s not terrible, its just okay. It does screw on easily to my Nikon, but at completely zoom out I do have some edged out spots in the frame from the lens.

Would have worked great..
It is exactly what they advertised.Would have worked great.... if I had done my research and bought the right size.....My camera is a 67mm Nikon.... this is much, MUCH smaller than that.

Doesn't attach to Nikon directly
You need to screw it on like a filter/lens cap. We returned it becuase it wasn't the best macro lens.
