HERBIVORE Botanicals - Mini Facial Oil Trio | Truly Natural, Clean Beauty

I enjoyed getting to know more about Herbivore Botanicals through these testers. I have something to say about each of these oils but overall 5 stars for the price/packaging/quality of this set. After this purchase I would buy these products individually, I would buy this set again as a gift, and I would reccomend people try Herbivore through a set like this for this first time.** A lot of people complain about the prices of this brand. Honestly you cannot beat the quality of ingredients! Each formula is simple and every ingredient has a therapeutic purpose. For that I applaud this company and personally believe the price is justified. There are incentives through their website **ORCHID: By far my favorite. It soaks into the skin beautifully and is so weightless even my ultra sensitive skin can handle twice daily use. I have a terrible habit of staying away from moisturizers because everything is heavy and makes me break out. That is not the case here! Finally! I've found my dream product. The smell is very soothing at night too.PHOENIX: Is great too. It soaks in similarly to Orchid, but you can tell it's more of an intense moisturizer. I gave it to my mom and she's been enjoying it just as much. Her skin needs the extra moisture more than mine.LAPIS: Probably my least favorite which is surprising because these ingredients are what drew me in to this company in the first place. It just sits differently on the skin and doesn't have me infatuated like the other two formulas. It's probably still great for someone else. I'm thinking maybe it's the squalane oil because that's one of the ingredients that differs from the other two. Squalane is a naturally occurring oil in our skin that depletes as you get older so I wouldn't write it off completely but it's also a very unstable oil (derived from vegan sources) to put in products. Just a thought.As a whole: you can't go wrong with facial products containing Jojoba oil! But Herbivore really knows how to pair it with some great assisting ingredients. Just exceptional quality. Lastly though, a complaint so you know its real! The perfume is a bit strong for me (I prefer lighter scents) but that didn't deter a 5 star review because the scent dissipates pretty quickly. And the "perfume" is REAL oils! Real jasmine! So it's nothing to gripe about at all. Overall reccomend!

All of these have strong but earthy/natural/floral scents to them. Perfect if you want to try out the array of oils and adjust to your skin type, also helps with facial and gut sha massages! Soothed my red eczema prone skin and absorbed easily into the skin. Purged my skin initially but did not break me out after subsequent uses. Skin looked and felt more hydrated and radiant alternating between these three in my day to day routine, Lapis and Phoenix seemed to work best for me.

Nice size for travel. Great moisturizer for older skin too

This is a really good way to try their facial oils. The vials are glass and include a dropper. They all smell different but the scents are very light...nothing triggering. Each oil has different properties. My favorite is the lapis blue tansy oil, I use it right after waxing because it has ingredients to soothe and calm skin irritated skin. Keep in mine these are mini and are meant for travel or to try the line without buying the full size. If you’re looking for value this might not be the line for you because this brand is all about luxury.

Herbivores packaging presentation is absolutely superb! I literally only buy their products because of the way they present their products it’s very clean and esthetically pleasing to look at . But the quality of the oils inside their glass bottles are not very good, it has very low grade freshness.LAPIS : smells pungent and burnt.PHENOX: smells like very old wilted rose hips.ORCHID: is their best smelling oil in this package kit I would say, but like I said before it’s not good quality jasmine oil it’s like cheap lowest grade possible Jasmine.Overall I gave it 3 stars because really love the glass bottles I used up all the cheap grade oils on my stretch marks and then filled the bottles up with my preferred oils .•Eucaliptos oil de la Cruz•Tiger Balm Lineament•Chanel Jasmine oil

Love these!! Great for dry skin, or normal skin if you like the dewy look. I have combination skin and my cheeks get really dry, and the rest is just average to dry depending on the weather. It makes my matte foundation look so much better. I don’t like a flat look. I like it a bit dewy. However, after having your makeup on for 12hrs you will probably look a little oily, just a hair. But for me it doesn’t look like ‘omg she needs to blot her skin’ to me it’s just a really dewy glow, more than I would want to start out abt the beginning of my day, but fine for the end. I would say if your nervous use it at night. It’s wonderful.

These are very moisturizing and I love the smell of each of them. Very earthy and feminine.

These are my favorite oils. I have purchased a few times because they make my skin SO soft with no irritation.
